Limited
by CAS, Inc., a newly created sister-company of CAS Iberia, Inc.
is pleased to announce its recent acquisition of certain assets
of Palisades Entertainment, LLC. including both trademarked names,
Palisades Toys and Factory X.
The
Palisades Toys and Factory X product lines will combine
with CAS' existing LMTD line to offer a diverse line of licensed,
pop-culture products to the toy and collectibles industry. Action
Figures, Cold-Cast Resin Statues and Busts, Prop Replicas, and other
products based upon high-profile licensed properties will be produced
and sold under the LMTD banner.
This
bold move by CAS Iberia, Inc. comes on the heels of the official
spin off of Limited by CAS, Inc. into its own company late in 2005
while continuing to offer licensed products, distribution, and related
services to the toys and collectibles industry as Limited had been
doing since 2nd Quarter 2005. By acquiring the assets of Palisades Toys, Limited by CAS greatly strengthens its licensing, design,
marketing, manufacturing, sales and distribution services to both
retailers and fans of not only Palisades, but of the entire toy
and collectibles industry.
“The
opportunity to bring these two companies together under one roof
is intended to create an intense and energetic distribution company
along with an industry leader in the licensed toy and collectible
market...” Jeff Epperson, President and CEO of Limited by
CAS, Inc. and CAS Iberia, Inc.
“I
have been involved with the collectible toy industry for over 12
years and I will always be grateful for the friends and opportunities
it has afforded myself and my family. I expect great things from
this partnership--the fans of our great products should as well.”
Michael Horn, past President and CEO of Palisades Entertainment,
LLC.
More
information and future plans for Palisades' loyal fan base including
new offerings from both the Palisades’ Collector's Club and
Factory X websites will be announced as soon as possible. Certain
key personnel management from Palisades will be joining the LMTD
team, and all involved intend to have LMTD/Palisades business in
full-swing by early-to-mid-February. Many products being offered
for sale throughout 2006 will be on display and available for order
at the Limited by CAS booth (No. 2979) located in the Javits Center
during the 2006 International Toy Fair being held February 12th
– 15th in New York City.
