Chapter 5
Hey everyone, here is Chapter 5. I would have posted it last night but I couldn't get onto the site for some reason. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter. I probably won't be able to post more until after I see the new Inidiana Jones movie wednesday at midnight, because i'm just too excited for it (for the movie and the date i'm bringing with me!)
Anyway, enjoy!
Arianne fished out her corkscrew from her apron, and attempted to uncork the wine without giving anyone a black eye. I hate opening wine, I can never seem to do it right, she thought to herself. Arianne couldn’t help but notice that the frog seemed very distracted, unable to take his eyes off of the attractive lady pig sitting next to him. Aww, young love is so adorable; I really hope they hit it off. Thankfully, she uncorked the bottle without spilling anything and without sending the cork into space, or into someone else’s soup. She held the cork close to Kermit’s face and asked, “Don’t you want to smell the cork, sir?” It was always customary when serving wine to have the customers smell the cork, which was one of the ways to make sure the customers thought the wine to be satisfactory.
“Oh, uh, of course”, said Kermit, trying to hide that he had no idea what was going on. He sniffed the cork, promising to himself no matter what it smelled like, he would look like he liked it. “Mm-hmm, smells good” he said.
“Mmm, yes” uttered Piggy, not really talking about the wine, but about how wonderful Kermit looked and how nice it was for someone else to be in control and handling everything for a change. Piggy was used to handling everything on her own, and often being stern in order to do so. She could definitely get used to being around the frog, who seemed to bring out the soft side in her
As Arianne began to pour the wine into the champagne flutes she brought over she said to Kermit, “Would you care to taste it first?”. This was the other way to make sure the wine was to the customer’s satisfaction.
“Well, uh” said Kermit with very little confidence at all. He had no idea what to do. Should he taste it? Dining edicate wasn’t really taught at the swamp. As long as you didn’t tangle tongues on the way to a tasty snack or eat off of someone else’s plate, you were acting with proper manners in the swamp.
Piggy casually leaned over to Kermit and very sensually placed her lips near Kermit’s aural organs to whisper to him, which gave Kermit an anything-but-cold chill up his spine. “I think she’s supposed to”, whispered Piggy. Piggy wanted to help him without sounding superior, knowing how much a damaged ego affects a man, but when it came to edicate, she knew her stuff.
“Uh, would you taste it for us please?” said Kermit with as much confidence as he could muster, showing Piggy that he trusted her completely. He thought that Miss Piggy was very elegant, and would know what to do in situations like this.
Arianne took one of the champagne flutes and sampled the wine. No wonder the manager is trying to get rid of this stuff; it tastes terrible! She did all she could to hide the dissatisfaction in her face, knowing that the frog was a little short on cash and trying so desperately to impress the lady. She gave her head a slight nod and said, “Excellent choice, definitely one of the best wines in the restaurant!” Little white lies, okay maybe a bigger white lie, is allowed when it comes to love, she thought.
“Should be for 95 cents”, said Kermit.
“Oooh”, said Piggy. Being frugal is a good quality in a man, especially when he will need the money to buy her nice presents from time to time!
Arianne took away the flute she used to sample the wine, replaced it with another, and filled both glasses, placing the open bottle back in the ice bucket.
“Thank you, that will be all for now”, said Kermit
“My pleasure”, said the waitress as she curtsied and went to go take care of other customers.
Kermit held up his glass, looked Piggy straight in the eye and said, “Here’s to you Miss Piggy”. Piggy let out a small, audible sigh, as they clinked their glasses, for she was obviously very touched by his little toast. “Drink up” said Kermit before he took a sip from his own glass.
Piggy continued drinking her glass of wine after Kermit put down his glass. I need to calm my nerves, she thought to herself. She downed the rest of her wine and delicately set her glass on the table. Her mind was racing, and her emotions were out of control.
Kermit stared at Piggy intently as she finished her wine. She looks absolutely gorgeous, he thought as he quickly gave her a once-over, unable to take his eyes away from her.
She let out a small giggle as she felt the bubbles of the wine tickle her upper lip.
“Makes me ticklish”, she said quietly.
“Uh, the wine?”, asked Kermit unsurely, starting to feel a little hot under his collar. Is it getting warm in here?
“Everything”, said Piggy without thinking as she looked into his eyes, then looked down, afraid of what his reaction would be to her brutally honest disclosure
Kermit found himself looking away as well, feeling he would be forever lost in those big blue eyes of hers if he didn’t. He had no idea what to say or what to do; he never felt like this before. His emotions and feelings for her were rising like a tidal wave. His brain and his words seemed to have lost any connection toward one another. He looked around, trying to find the right thing to say “Beautiful evening, isn’t it?” he said as he turned his eyes to her once again, completely hypnotized by her, and not knowing that he was slowly edging closer to her.
“Mm-hmm”, mumbled Piggy as she nodded slightly, also not realizing that she was leaning towards Kermit.
“And uh, the moon is just lovely” said Kermit, never taking his eyes off of her. All he could think about is her eyes and the strong desire to move closer to her.
“Mm-hmm”, muttered Piggy to agree. Kermit could have said anything at that moment and she would have mumbled the same thing.
“But… you know, Miss Piggy, the moon doesn’t look like you”, said Kermit, who shook his head as he was sure that nothing beautiful in nature could look as lovely as Piggy did this moment. His head was reeling, the only direction he knew or even wanted to know was closer to Piggy. He wanted to kiss her all this time, as soon as he saw her at the pageant he wanted to kiss her, but didn’t have the courage until this moment, when nothing would stop him from kissing her.
Piggy let out a light moan. She could have melted over the sweet words he said, but remained glued to her seat in order to edge in closer and closer to Kermit. How she longed to kiss him, more than anything in the world she wanted to press her lips to his. The energy between them was so intense; she thought she was going to burst with happiness. They were so close, just mere centimeters from colliding their lips together. This is so wonderful, she thought.
This is so wonderful, he thought!
“Miss Piggy”, the waitress said as she was absent-mindedly cleaning a plate. Whoever Miss Piggy was, she had a phone call from an annoying and sleazy sounding man who said it was urgent. “Miss Piggy” the waitress called out again in the dining room.
Piggy thought she heard someone calling her name, taking her only slightly out of her romantic fog just enough to slightly turn her head to the sound and….
Kermit cupped her chin with his hand, pulled her towards him the mere inches he needed and kissed her with the longing and passion of a frog on a mission, having really no idea what he was doing, only knowing that he wanted to with all of his might.
Piggy’s entire body tensed the moment Kermit took hold of her chin and started to kiss her, but as soon as Kermit was passionately moving his lips against hers, she released all of the tension in her body and put it into her kissing. She lost all control, and feeling in the rest of her body for that matter. All she could even try to think about was how great this was. So frogs are great kissers, at least this frog is; this was one the thoughts that were swirling in her head.
Kermit could feel her tense up at first, wondering if he was too bold, but then he felt her completely relax and respond to his kiss. He was almost taken aback about how passionate it was, only that would take him farther away from her, which was the exact opposite of what he wanted. He felt so alive and wonderful. He never wanted this to end.
The waitress looked up from cleaning her dish and saw the two lovebirds she was serving wine to earlier kissing like there was no tomorrow. She slowly backed away to go clean dishes; the sleazy man on the phone could wait another minute.
After what seemed like an eternity to the rest of the restaurant, and only a few seconds to Kermit and Piggy, they released from one another. Piggy sat back in her chair to catch her breath so she wouldn't faint on the spot, and Kermit just sat in his chair, touching his lips, to see if they were indeed moist, proving that this wasn’t his dream. He just finished kissing the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and by the looks of it, she enjoyed it just as much as he did.
Trying to break the tension in the restaurant, Arianne came up to Miss Piggy, lightly tapped her on the shoulder and said, “Uh, excuse me, are you Miss Piggy?”
“Uh, yes?” Piggy said, amazed that she had the ability to say anything.
“You have a phone call miss” the waitress said as she pointed toward the direction of the phone, which was unfortunately the opposite direction of the lady’s new love interest.
“Oh! Uh” Piggy was unfortunately snapped back to reality. It must be her agent. If she kept him waiting, that could mean a lost job! “Uh, Kermie?... I did place one phone call to my agent” she said as she sensually caressed his chin. “It will only be an eensy teensy moment” She hated to go but she hadn’t had an acting gig in a few weeks and could definitely use the extra cash, especially if she was going to have someone special in her life for a while. She got up from her chair and delicately ran to the phone to have a brief, very brief conversation with her agent.
“What the hey” Kermit said with a smile on his face, anxiously waiting for her to return…
“That was a great kiss!” said Piggy as her and Kermit were sitting back on her loveseat, casually holding hands as they looked back on their date. “ I can’t believe that vous didn’t want to put that in the movie!”
“Oh, come on Piggy” Kermit said jokingly. “You know if I put that kiss in the movie, we would lose our G rating!”
Piggy giggled as her face flushed “I guess you’re right”
Kermit laughed a little himself “Yeah, it was a great moment, But why did your phone call with your agent take so long? Did Doc Hopper kidnap you in the phone booth; Is that why you didn’t come back right away?”
Piggy hesitated…
