Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, hokay!

sorry, it had to be said. I'm loving the sketches that you're doing. It's great fun to see Muppets putting on short sketches just like in the old days. Great work on the dialogue for the Swedish Chef. I always find it very difficult to write him. Loved the lobster banditos and of course, Super Grover's less than timely intervention.

I haven't seen Grover in years. Such a cutie! Great job!

Well... I'll be looking forward to it, as some others too. Now if only my other creative endeavor were going as well as this. *Slight sigh.
Eh, if you want, we can talk about it over PM. Well, let's see what's next on the scheduled acts... Oh yeah, a good one...

Part 24...

Beth craned her neck back to speak with Felicia and Wanda about something when she noticed...
Beth: "Hey Kim..."
Kim, from the seat next to her: "Yeah?"
Beth: "Wasn't Betty Lou with you?"
Kim: "Yeah..."
Beth: "Well, she's not there now."
Kim: "Huh?"
Indeed, she turned her neck to look at the row behind her as well, and all of the SS gang had left, which was why the Muppets' family members had settled in the row nearer to the Hensonville crew, instead of remaining in their originally assigned seats.
When word reached the rest of the Hensonville gang, looks of wonder crossed their faces.
Bryan: "Wonder where they went to."
Kyle: "They're probably just taking a bathroom break."
Kathy: "All of them together?"
Sara: "Yeah, I'm a bit worried."
Lisa, looking up from her notebook: "Huh? What's going on?"
Angie: "I'm sure they'll be back soon."
Diana: "Yeah, it's not like they'd miss out on the finale."

The Newsman stood behind his desk, the walls of screens behind him. All eight screens had a different news report in full view, one in particular capturing the camera's focus.
Newsman: "This is a Muppet News Flash! We take you now live to the Planet Koozbane, where our intrepid reporter Kermit The Frog has an update for us regarding current events."

Through a subtle cloud of dust effect, the scene dissolved to Reporter Kermit huddled next to the Planet Koozbane base. Two Merdlidops had their heads stuck out through the base's lower surface, surveying the scene before them.

Reporter Kermit: "Hi-ho, Kermit The Frog here, reporting from the Planet Koozbane. And unless I miss my mark... Yes, here come the Koozbanians now, just about to start their mating ritual."
The Male Koozbanian Creature approached the base, shouting his traditional "Hargy".
The Female Koozbanian Creature emerged, laughing at the male's attempts.
Reporter Kermit: "Yes foks, I think she likes him."

The two Koozbanians greeted, courted, and then separated from each other walking to the far ends of the stage.

Reporter Kermit: "Well folks, I think... Yes, we're just about to witness... The Koozbanians have reached their points, they're turning, and here we go... They're going to perform the Galleo-HoopHoop ritual!"

Male Koozbanian: "Galleo!"
Female Koozbanian: "HoopHoop!"
The two aliens rushed in their own inimitable fashion towards each other... Faster and faster, screaming their cries at the other... Until they meet with a deafening explosion in the center, leaving a few confused Baby Koozbanians asking for their mommy.
Reporter Kermit: "There you have it folks."

The ripple effect worked its magic once again, returning us to the Newsman still behind his desk.
Newsman: "Thank you Kermit. In other news... Opening umbrellas indoors, though usually considered to be an old superstition today will prove to be lucky, especially after today's forecast of sudden showers sparked inside the Muppet Theater."
The Newsman looked at his papers, Scooter's clipboard in actuality, with a bit of an incredulous look...
Newsman: "Where do they keep coming up with these..."
Count: Ah ha! That's 1 weird news story!"
And of course, since he was finished counting, his traditional thunder and lightning cued up instantly afterwards, timed alond to coincide with a bucket of water tipped directly over the Newsman himself.
The crowd delighted to see this turn of events... As the finale neared ever closer.

I really loved how Count's usual thunder and lightning ended up being the storm.

Nice! So funny.

Where did Big Bird go? Probably to get another birdseed milkshake I suppose. Yeah...they are all gone. Where are they? Hope we find out soon. I know my roomies were looking forward to this. Oh well...

Keep it coming, Ed!

Part 25...

Just one act left before the grand finale... That was what Kermit kept telling himself... Just one more act before everybody...
The next-to-last act was scheduled to be a quick one, meant rully more as filler as Janice mentioned to the rest of the band, who were also anxiously awaiting the big production number.

A campfire was set ablaze in the center of the stage, a green travel trunk propped up next to the site. Indiana Frog, better known as Adventure Kermit sat perched up on one end of the trunk, Animal in his red and silver garb on the other cradling a pair of bongos upon his lap. Frog Scout Robin held his marshmallow stick over the fire, his two buddies Gawain and Norman clutching a bag of trail mix.
AK: "OK boys... You ready for our campfire sing-along?"
Scouts: "Yes sir!"
The frogs got ready to sing a brief marching anthem, with Animal set to provide the beat on his bongos.
Johnny: "Wait a second..."

Johnny Fiama, wearing his signature pinstripe suit, ambled out onto the campsite.
Johnny: "I've been waiting all show long... And I gotta get my own spot in this ting too."
AK: "But Johnny..."
Johnny: "But Johnny nothin'. Johnny Fiama was hired to sing, and that's what Johnny Fiama's gonna do!"
So the crooner set to warbling out the lyrics to a lively song, the scouts just going through the oogachakas and awimbowes in the background.
Johnny: "I can't fight tis feelin'... I got it bad for you babe...
Hold it... What are you guys doin'?"
Scouts: "We're doing the oogachakas and awimbowes."
Johnny: "I understand the oogachakas and awimbowes... But you don't do it while I'm singing... It trows me off."
AK, whispering to Animal: "Pick up the beat and get him out of here."
Animal's eyebrows went up as he got the commands...

Animal: "Bad man! Bad man!"
The wild drummer set to chasing Johnny off stage as the curtains fell on the badly-improvised frog scout meeting.

Statler: "Too bad he didn't sing solo."
Waldorf: "Hmmm?"
Statler: "So low we couldn't hear him."
The old heckler started laughing by himself...
Waldorf: "Beg pardon? Didn't get that on my hearing aid."
The camera simply panned away from the balcony box, leaving the hecklers arguing amongst themselves.

Loving the last three chapters, Ed. And I've gotta say, about this little part here...

The Count said:
Lisa, looking up from her notebook: "Huh? What's going on?"
Yes! I am hopelessly lost to my notebook! So typical of moi. You'll get a round of applause for that, just as soon as I figure out where Zany's gotten off to with that cue-card...

But in the mean time, MORE PLEASE!
