Part 27...
The Muppets were all gathered onstage... Far too many to just close the curtains and pose in front of them as they did for most Good Night farewells.
Kermit, along with the rest standing with their respective figures: "Well, we've come to the end of another Muppet Show... But before we go, a big thanks to our special guest star... Super Grover!"
SG: "Thank you froggy baby, it's been a pleasure to meet all my new friends here in Hensonville."
Kermit: "Well, we're glad that you found your one little star."
Kermit, to the crowd: "Thanks for joining us and we'll see you on the next Muppet Show! Yaeeey!"
The orchestra pit tuned into the show's traditional ending music, though no credit crawl was seen... This was after all, a live show being performed a live audience. The Muppets were chatting away with their figures and the people in the crowd.
The cameras panned up to the balcony for one last parting shot...
Waldorf: "At least that's finally over."
Statler: "What, the action figure line?"
Waldorf: "No, the show!"
They both laughed heartily as Zoot moved his figure below them so as to play his final note, bringing the show to its end.
The cast party burst into excitement backstage, many old friends trying to make sure nothing got broken.
Eduardo: "I'll see you guys later... The Count and I have to pick up a few friends, we'll meet you at the boarding house later tonight."
Everything was packed with care and whisked away on the Electric Mayhem's bus, boxes and boxes deposited in the boarding house's main living room... Chores for later they all said.
The Countmobile raced out to the train station, where a few new residents of Hensonville awaited to be picked up.
