Beth: Your teacher is very nice Abby
Abby: I know, I love Mrs. Goose, I learn so much from her.
Red: So now what?
Wanda: Lunch at Hooper's?
Red: Ooh, then can we go play on the tire swing?
Beth: Sure, sounds like a plan, let's go!

Bry: (stretching and rubbing neck) Boy, what a night.
Big Bird: How did you sleep?
Bry: Big Bird, my friend, would you like to sleep on hard pavement with barly enough blankets to keep you warm?
Big Bird: No thanks, I have my nest!
Bry: Big Bird...
Big Bird: You were miserable, huh?
Bry: No, Big Bird. It wasn't all so bad. Thank you for inviting me to stay with you.
Big Bird: You're welcome.
Telly: (runs in) Bryan! Bryan!
Bry: Hey, Telly!
Telly: Guess what?
Bry: What?
Telly: There's a sing-along party at Birdland tonight.
Bry: Oh yeah! I heard about that.
Telly: You're gonna be there, right? I've got a great song planned.
Bry: Actually, I can't.
Big Bird: You can't? Why not?
Bry: I have to teach a class downtown this afternoon and I don't know what time I'll be back. You guys go along without me and have a good time.
Telly: Okay, but it won't be the same without you.
Big Bird: No, it won't.
Bry: Sorry, guys, but you'll have fun with Ed, Kyle, Grover and everyone.
Telly: I suppose someone will video tape it.
Bry: Maybe I'll catch up with you sometime later. Otherwise I'll be staying at the Furry Arms Hotel again tonight. But what do you guys say we get some lunch before I go to work.
Telly: You got it!

(OOC: Ed, I really will be busy tonight, but I am leaving you, Beth, and/or Kyle--whoever wants to take them-- in charge of my roomies.)

On Sesame Street........

Alright guys. I was thinking of going to Charlie's for lunch.

Herry: Sounds fine to me.

Cookie M: Me too.

Maurice: I haven't been there in such a long time.

Ok then. Off we go.

At Charlie's Restrant..........

Herry: I just love their alphabet soup.

Maurice: Hope Charlie doesn't forget to add all the letters.

Over on another table a short blue man was was about to sit down when Grover appeared and started to tell the man something.

Waiter Grover: Hello there sir.

Fat Blue: It's you!

Waiter Grover: Yes it is I, your furry blue waiter Grover. What can I get for you today?

Fat Blue: *looks at menu*

Waiter Grover: We do have our speical of the day sir.

Fat Blue: *puts down the menu* What is the special of the day?

Waiter Grover: The Salad torpedo.

Fat Blue: Salad torpedo? What's that?

Waiter Grover: It is a salad with lots of lettus, carrots, tomatos and other veggies in it.

Fat Blue: That sounds good. I'll take it.

Waiter Grover: Ok. Be right back with your salad. *walks back through the doors* Charlie we need a salad torpedo.

Fat Blue: Can't wait for this salad torpedo.

Waiter Grover: *opens door* Are you ready sir?

Fat Blue: Give it to me!

Waiter Grover: Ok Charlie. Shoot it off!

Fat Blue: Shoot it off? Wait wait....

A big brust of lettus, carrots, tomatos and other veggies get shot out of a torpedo hole and flug all over Fat Blue.

Waiter Grover: *runs to Fat Blue* Did you like it?

Fat Blue: *uncovers himself from a pile of lettus and other veggies* I hated it!

Waiter Grover: Very well then. That will be 2.50 sir.

Fat Blue: *faints*

Waiter Grover: Sir? Are you alright? Was it the 2.50?

The doors to Birdland are festively decorated with a few birthday streamers perched above the yawning entryway. Small snatches of instrumental barbs float through the air as the houseband tunes their tools of the performing trade. Tables and chairs have been arranged with a clear view of the stage as the gang from the dorms starts to pile into the swinging nightclub.

Hoots: Welcome cas and kittens to the Birdland Sesame Street Sing-Along.
We've got a rockin' band and plenty of water to keep your whistles whistlin'.
So let's get this joint jumpin' with some memorable melodious music!

*The band launches into a wild yet melifluous jazzy rendition of the Sesame Street theme.

Me: ...Yeesh...I'll tell you later, I've got tests to study for.
Clifford: Oh we'll get you to tell us dude. And if you're sayin' her name in your sleep I'll know why. Heh heh.
Me: When did I say it involved a girl?
Gonzo: So it does then?
Me: ...Yes. Goodnight!! *runs*

Grover: This looks to be fun.

Herry: This is some hip music. Keep it playing Hoots!

I'm loving what they've done to the place. It's nice and cool at the same time.

Cookie M: *spots some cookies* Oh my heart has stop. Lookie at all those delicious cookies! *fingers wiggling around, mouth smacking*

Maurice: Don't you dear Cookie Monster. Those are for all the guest not just you.

Cookie M: Me know. You no worry.

Hoots: OK boppers... The stage's cleared and the mike's hot... If you've got a song to sing, then step right up and let's hear you belt a tune out to the stars above.
*The wise old owl flutters off to write down all the dormies' names in order, to make sure everyone gets a turn at singing whatever song they want to perform at Birdland tonight.

Kim: Whaddaya say we get up there and give it a try?
Roomies: *variations on "I don't know" and "Do you think we can?"*
Kim: C'mon! We've done this before, haven't we?
Boober: Yeah, in the privacy of our dorm room!
Kim: Don't Fraggles break into song at the drop of a hat?
Hat: *falls from the ceiling and lands on a table* Did someone mention me?
Betty Lou: *whispering something in Tosh's ear* Tosh and I have a song!
Kim: You do? Great, go for it. Meanwhile I'll see if I can coax a melody out of Chicken Little and Chicken Little-er.
Betty Lou: Ready, Tosh?
Tosh: *nods* Ready.
I had always thought the world was full of mystery...

Betty Lou: I had seen so many people that were strange.

Both: And it sometimes seemed that each one was my enemy,

Tosh: And I said our fighting ways would never change.

Betty Lou: But I learned to meet my sister and my enemy...

Tosh: And I learned that we are none of us alone.

Both: For I found a friend whose different, and she cares for me,

Betty Lou: And I know a place we share can be our home.

Both: We are the children of tomorrow,
(Gillis joins in) Each one is different and the same...
(Boober joins in) Help us to live here with our other, our brother,
(Kim joins in) One in heart, one in hope, one in name.

Kim: (spoken) All right now, everybody! Join in if you like!

All: We are the children of tomorrow,
Each one is different and the same...
Help us to live here with our other, our brother
One in heart, one in hope, one in name.

We are the children of tomorrow,
Each one is different and the same...
Help us to live here with our other, our brother,
One in heart, one in hope, one in name.

We are the children of tomorrow,
Each one is different and the same...
Help us to live here with our other, our brother,
One in heart...
One in hope...
One in name.

Kim: *comes up to Ed as they come off the stage after the song* Hey Ed. Betty Lou wants to bring one of her pets back to the dorm with her when we head back home tomorrow, and I just wanted to clear it with you before she made up her mind. Is it okay?

Bert: Hey, Ernie, why don't you get up there and sing?
Bry: Yeah, Ernie! Go ahead!
Ernie: Actually, I did have a little something prepared with a little help from some friends and Rubber Duckie! (Runs up to the stage and calls to behind the curtain) You guys ready? (to band) Hit it!

(Music starts and 2 Honkers and a Dinger come onstage wearing cowboy hats and bandanas; Rubber Duckie squeaks, the Honkers honk their noses and the Dinger taps the bell on his head as part of the musical orchestration)

Come on everybody
To a street called Sesame
There's something very silly
That we'd like you all to see
It's the latest, it's the greatest
It's the only place to be
It's the Honker Duckie Dinger Jamboree

Take a chance and join us
And I know that you'll agree
Our show may not be fancy
But it's noisy and its free
It's got honks, it's got squeaks, it's got dings, and it's got me
It's the Honker Duckie Dinger Jamboree
The Honker Duckie Dinger Jamboree

Play it, boys!
(The Honkers and Dinger do their thing during the musical break)
How 'bout this band, huh?!

If you want to be a member of our happy family
Nothing to it, you can do it
If you listen carefully
Clap your hands, tap your toes
Snap your fingers slap your knees

At the Honker Duckie Dinger Jamboree
The Honker Duckie Dinger Jamboree

(Song ends and the club patrons applaud and whistle)

Alright! Take five, guys!
(The two Honkers both grab a Muppet Number 5 and takes it offstage)
