(In the park)

Big Bird: (strolling through the park and spots Sara) La la la... oh, hey, Snuffy, look. There's Sara.
Snuffy: Yeah. She looks kinda sad, Bird.
Big Bird: What is she doing here all by herself?
Snuffy: I don't know.
Big Bird: I know! Maybe she needs someone to play with! Let's go say hello.
(they walk up to Sara)
Big Bird: Hi, Sara! What are you doing?
Snuffy: Are you okay?
Big Bird: We just thought maybe you could use some cheering up. Actually, maybe you could help us out too.
Snuffy: Hey, yeah! We were just about the talk about the letter of the day--the letter H!
Big Bird: Hey, I have an idea! (whispers to Snuffy) How about we sing Sara that silly H song.
Snuffy: Oh, yeah! It'll be sure to make her feel better. Great idea, Bird!
Big Bird: Okay, Sara! We have the perfect thing to cheer you up. Would you mind holding this. (gives Sara a letter H to hold while they sing their song). Snuffy, you go first!
Snuffy: Okay, Bird! Listen to this, Sara! Dohoho!

A hamster ate a handkerchief, a hammer and a hoe
He ate a hundred herring and a hawk who said "Hello"
This hamster ate a pickle jar, a house and then a log
And then he got the hiccups and he turned into a hog!

Dohohoho!!

Snuffy/Big Bird: Ha ha ha ha ho ho hee
That's about as funny as it can be
Hee hee hee hee ha ha ho
"H" is the letter that we love so!

Big Bird: Good job, Snuff!
Snuffy: Aww thanks, Bird.
Ernie: (comes by) Hey, guys! What's going on?
Snuffy: We're singing about the letter H!
Ernie: Oh, can I join?
Snuffy: Sure!
Ernie: Okay, get this one...
A horse named Harvey Highersoup was hiking up the hill
And then he met a halibut who went to Honkerville
He had to play harmonica, and honked another horn
So they hooted and they honked until the night became the morn

Khekhekhe! Oh that was fun!

Ernie/Snuffy/Bird: Ha ha ha ha ho ho hee
That's about as funny as it can be
Hee hee hee hee ha ha ho
"H" is the letter that we love so!

Snuffy: You take the last one, Bird.

Big Bird: O.K. Listen to this. (giggles)
Oh, Henry Hippopotamus went hopping in the air
Until he hit a table and got honey on his hair
This handsome hippopotamus, I strongly must confess
Was not a hippopotamus, but a "hippo-pot-a-mess"!

Snuffy: Dooohh-hohhhaha!
Ernie: Good one! Khekhe!
(all giggle)

Ernie/Snuffy/Bird: Ha ha ha ha ho ho hee
That's about as funny as it can be
Hee hee hee hee ha ha ho
"H" is the letter that we love so!

(Music Stops and all three are snickering)
Snuffy: Did it work?
Big Bird: I think I see a half smirk, but that could mean anything. Well, Sara, all joking aside...if you ever need anything, just remember you're on Sesame Street, where there's a friend around every corner! (gives her a hug)

(in a box at the opera)
MN: Nice view of the stage. We're not in the nosebleed section for once.
Storyteller: So the oxygen tanks weren't necessary.
Nora: How long will the show go?
MN: A couple of hours. But that's okay; we're not due home until tomorrow afternoon.
Storyteller: I thought they were doing "Peligro?"
MN: Well, they took it out of the repertoire for a bit because the set had this nasty habit of collapsing on them.
Storyteller: Guess that's how they got all the theater ghosts.
MN: No, the ghosts were here to begin with. Every theater needs a few ghosts.
Nora: There's one in that box over there!
Storyteller: Where?
Nora: He's the one wearing the nice-looking suit, the black tie...and the pair of Adidas.
MN: Hmm, let me see...no, Nora, that's not one of the theater ghosts. That's just Richard.

(down on stage)
Phil Harmonic: Now, now, we mustn't snore during the performance, Uncle Donnie.

Still at Sesame Street.......

Grover: Hey lets go over to Cookie's house.

That sounds fine to me. Maybe we can stay there for the night.

Cookie M: Me mom wouldn't mind guys. Me already asked her.

Maurice: Cool. I'm going to go get some stuff from my house.

Ok. Well meet you there.

Back at Cookie's Mom's house.........

Thank you very much for letting us spend the night.

Cookie's Mom: Anytime. I just love when Cookie's friends are over.

Grover: I would always come to spend the night. Remember?

Cookie M: All the time. Me and Grover had good times.

Herry: I know I did.

Maurice: So did I. Ooo remember that time we stayed up late.

Grover: That was fun. But I got to tired. My cute little body can not take to much.

I have to get up early tomorrow so I'm going to head on to bed. Good night everyone.

Monsters: Good night Kyle! *all laugh*

Cookie's Mom: Good night Kyle. Sweet dreams.

Thank you Mrs. Monster. *heads into the guest room*

(leaving the opera)

MN: That Placido Flamingo is such a character, isn't he?
Nora: Yeah, I didn't know it was possible to (yawn) hold a note that long...
MN: Sounds like someone needs to go to bed.
Storyteller: Oh, yeah, she's been yawning since the end of act II.
Nora: So were you.
MN: It's okay, we can sleep late tomorrow. We're actually not heading out until Wednesday.
Storyteller: Have you two noticed that Sara's been a little down today?
MN: So she has. I heard from Scooter that it had to do with her job or something. We'll have to do something to cheer her up.
Nora: In the (yawn) morning, of course.

(walking past 123 Brownstone toward Big Bird's nest)
Big Bird: Come on, Bryan. You promised!
Bry: Yes, I know I did, Big Bird. Isn't it already past your bedtime?
Big Bird: Yes, and I would have been in my nest asleep if I didn't have to get you to come.
(Making our way through the doors into the nest area)
Bry: Big Bird, I'm sorry. I just don't see how I'm going to sleep. It's cold out here!
Big Bird: Well, I have a few extra blankets and the sleeping bag we barrowed from Luis. You can sleep right there next to my nest!
Bry: Okay, I'll try. (sets up a little bed on the ground beside Big Bird's nest)
Big Bird: (gets into his nest with Radar) Come on, Radar.
Bry: (gets in the sleeping bag and shifts to get comfortable) It is a beautiful night, though. Look at that sky.
Big Bird: Yeah. Hey, Bryan? Would you sing a lullabye?
Bry: A lullabye?
Big Bird: Yeah. You have such a nice singing voice. Radar thinks so too.
Bry: Well, thanks. Sure, I'll sing to you. I actually have just the right song...(gets up and sits on a crate next to Bird's nest.) Comfy? Okay...

Here in the middle of imagination
Right in the middle of my head,
I close my eyes and my home isn't home,
And my bed isn't really my bed.
I look inside and discover things,
That are sometimes strange and new,
And the most remarkable thoughts I think,
Have a way of being true.

Here in the middle of imagination
Right in the middle of my mind,
I close my eyes and the night isn't dark
And the things that I lose, I find.
Time stands still and the night is clear,
And the wind is warm and fair,
And the nicest place is the middle of imagination
When ... I'm ... there ...

(By the end of the song, Big Bird is sound asleep)

(whispers) Goodnight, Big Bird. (gets back into sleeping bag and tries to sleep also)

Telly: (in voice-over) Sesame Street and the Muppet Dorms were brought to you today by the letter H and by the number 17. Sleep tight!

Uncle Deadly: Mm, good luck today my fiend.
Me: What what? My spanish test? It's shouldn't be that bad.
Uncle D.: You know as well as I that that is not what I'm talking about.
Me: ...Bye Uncle D.!

Beth: That's true. All right Abby, where to first?

Kim: Well guys, its our last day here at Sesame Street. The Birdland Sing-a-Long is tonight, but what would you guys like to do before then?
Betty Lou: I'm going back to visit my old school for the day; my teacher wants me to tell the class about my penpal Tuktuki.
Kim: That's cool. Are you going to tell them about her visit for your birthday?
Betty Lou: Yup! Oh, can Tosh come with me?
Tosh: Yeah, please?
Kim: Sure, no problem. You'd better not take Beast with you, though. The teacher may not like that.
Tosh: Boober, could you watch Beast for me?
Boober: Sure, Tosh.
Kim: Well, that's the girls settled. Now how about you two? Do you have anything planned for today?
Boober: (flatly) Beast-sitting.
Gillis: I'm going to visit another fellow musician you told me about. What did you say his name was? Don...Something-or-other?
Kim: *chuckles* Don Music. Just make sure he doesn't do himself any harm while you two are discussing compositions, okay?
Gillis: Right.
Kim: Sounds like we all know what we're doing for the day, then. How about we meet back at Hooper's before we go to the Birdland? Oh and Betty Lou, you'd better decide which of your pets you want to take back to the dorm with you.
Betty Lou: I will, but its such a hard decision!
Kim: I'm sure you'll make the right one.
