Bry: (looks out the window and inhales the fresh morning air) Ah what a beautiful morning! The sun is shining...
Big Bird: (walking by the window) La la la la la...
Bry: ...The birds are singing! Looks like it's gonna be a good day.
Big Bird: (walking down the sidewalk outside the dormhouse and strolls around the gardens and dorm grounds, enjoying the morning as he sings)
Good morning
Mister Sun
Welcome to the sky
Shine on all the
Little creatures
As you're passing by
Stop yawning
Mister Sun
Time to make a day
Brightening every
Little corner
As you go your way

The moon and stars are
Fine at night
But when it's day
We need your light
So, we say, "Keep shining
Mister Sun
Smiling in the blue."
You'll see all the
Little children
Smiling back at you
And birds and bees
The flowers, the trees
The whole wide world
Will seem to say
"Good Morning
Good Morning
Mister Sun
Good Morning
Have a nice day."

*Puts finishing touches on surprise. OK, if noone else's coming...

Three personages huddle outside the door to Room #5. But whosoever can these silent silhouettes belong to?
A blue clawed hand raps on the door, hoping to draw the attention of the orange-skinned red-haired bespactacled child he once rescued now grown into a full motherly Muppet figure.

Hit it guys.
Happy birthday to you...
Happy birthday to you...
And dusk has broken out above the sunless air.
Count the candles burning glare.
The curtain falls and we don't care.
Happy birthday to you Sadie Grosse.

Uncle Deadly: Felicitations my child, though I made the theater my grave that fateful day when I had sworn noone else would perform after the critics killed me... Not to mention rescue you and your brother from that raging wreck of an inferno... It has brought a warmth to where my heart would be to have you part of the family once again.
Count: And of course, we decided to get you your own cake... Please forgive us for just the one candle. We didn't know how old you'd be, and we thought it proper not to ask any unvanted questions.
Me: And the boys here picked out a gift for you... It's a CD of some classy Muppet music. Tis filled with ballads from Alice Otter, a few operettas sung by Placido Flamingo, a couple of jovial songs from Don Music, and some that echo the beauty of the Muppets' older years. That, plus a few gift certificates for some of the trendy shops around town, tied up with a box of candied slices of orange and orange licquer chocolates.

May you have a happy birthday Ms. Grosse.
Hugs are exchanged between all before the door closes amiably and the parties break off to return to their respective rooms.

Uncle Deadly, dressed in his normal clothes and sipping a cup of green tea: Mmm... This Moppet Family drama is most interesting. Of course, I'd prefer more Muffins or fanfic... But one must make do with what's at hand, or claw so to spook as the case may be.

Christyb: I will...for now is the coast clear?

Skeeter: Yes next door is empty and the Count is not paying attention.

Christyb: Good lock the door. Tis time to wrap presents.
