Hoots: (with saxaphone in wing) Hey, let's get this BBQ rolling with some music!!

 

[The Count]

*Sits down at seat with Count and Uncle Deadly who also have their food served... Yeah, come on guys, music's what we need.
Kinda surprised the Country Trio haven't gotten here yet. Maybe they're helping Sara and Scooter with something. Oh hey Matt, glad you could make it. Drinks are over there, the food's all set up on the long table.

 

[BEAR]

Hoots: 1, 2, 3, 4! (along with the rest of the Birdland Band plays a rockin' Sesame Street theme)
Bry: Good food, great music. What more could we ask for?
Grover: (in waiter garb pops up) The chicken or the fish, sir?
Bry: Grover! You're off from work...atleast, I thought you were.
Grover: Always looking to pick up a little extra change here and there. What will it be?
Bry: Well, in that case...I'll have another hot dog.
Grover: Hot dog. You got it. Frankie!!
(a cocker spaniel muppet dog walks in wearing sunglasses and a beach towel)
Frankie: You called?
Bry: Grover, what is this?
Grover: You said you wanted a hot dog. Be sure to keep him in the shade and give him plenty of water. He is easily seseptible to heat stroke.
Bry: Oh, brother. (gets up and goes to the ice box)
Grover: What, no tip?! Talk about cheap. Come on, Frankie. Let us get some food.
Frankie: Okay.

Big Bird: Have a birdseed cookie, Cookie Monster.
Cookie: (eats a cookie) Ooh! That delicious! (smacking lips)
Rosita: Hola, Bryan.
Bry: Hey, Rosita. Enjoying yourself?
Rosita: Oh yeah. Say, whatever happened to Baba and all those guys that used to live with him? Haven't seen them around for a while.
Bry: Hmmm...you may need to ask Ed about that. That's a good question and I'm not even sure either.
Telly: Yeah, same with that other guy.
Bry: Supermuppet was his alias.
Snuffy: Yeah, I thought for sure they'd be here.

 

[TogetherAgain]

<Due to the absence of its residents, all is silent in room 24... save for the sound of a pen scratching against paper.>
Robin: <Coming in> Lisa?
Lisa: <Bent over notebook> Mm?
Robin: <sits down in front of Lisa> Why aren't you at the barbecue?
Lisa: <Sigh> Because, Robin, I really wanna get this chapter finished all ready...
Robin: But you're gonna be gone for six weeks.
Lisa: I know, and that's why I wanna finish this...
Robin: Well, but... aren't you gonna miss us?
Lisa: Of course.
Robin: Well then... why not visit with us now?
Lisa: <Finally looks at Robin.>
Robin: Please? <looks very cute>
Lisa: ....<drops pen and notebook> Let's party.
Robin: YAY!

Hoots: And now to sing an ode to the Letter of the Day, here are two of the hippest blue guys on Sesame Street Herry and Cookie Monster!!

Herry: Hey, Cookie Monster! What letter is that that goes up, down, up, down?
Cookie: That the letter "M", Herry.
Herry: Hmmmm...
Cookie: And the letter "M" reminds me of lots of wonderful things to eat.
Herry: Mmmm...let's think of some.
Cookie: Okay.

Herry: Mmm, meatballs
Cookie: Mmm, ready to munch (Mmm Mmm)
Herry: Mmm, malted milk
Cookie: Mmm, mustard
Herry: Mmm, monster want lunch (Mmm Mmm)
Cookie: Mmm, macaroni and melon
Herry: Magnificent meal
Cookie: Oh yeah!

Cookie: If monster had food now
How yummy his tummy would feel!
Oh, getting hungry!
Herry: Uh-huh!
Mmm, monster want marshmallows
Meatballs, milk, melon
Cookie: But we got none of them
Cookie and Herry: So mmm monsters who are so hungry

Yaey!! *Claps. Man, that's the one I've been waiting to hear ever since the first trip we had to SS back when the old dormhouse was still standing.
Maybe I'll grace the stage with a song too... But that can wait, right now it's time to dance.
*Square dance starts up and dorm residents take to the stage.
