Another surprisingly enjoyable one. And it doesn't hurt to have a Honker involved.

It was that one from a couple of weeks ago where Geoff gets tickets to the local daytime talk show and takes Erica over Barry (thus starting the current romantic thing he's got going with Geoff's sister).

I'm sure COVID had something to do with why certain characters haven't really been seen that often (Johnny Adkins is a notable omission, I'd agree). But they also did that episode with a pretty big studio audience for that local talk show, so how concerned can they be? Tim Meadows has been in a...

Episodes are not shot in the order they air. And no, Elmo was not redubbed.

I think you're looking for a pattern where there is none. I think the priority is more on adding actual new episodes than older ones, which require a lot more legal clearing and determining inappropriate content.

I don't think that's necessary right now.

I mean, it's a novel virus. The information about it will change the longer we get to study it.

No theater around me even has listings that far ahead, so I don't think you can judge that just yet.

It's the one used here; I can't tell if they're repurposing an old head or not.

They've been getting Sesame for free basically from HBO, so if it costs them virtually nothing to air it, why take it off?

Cerf was involved with books and merchandise at the time.

Yeah, it felt kinda redundant to have both the street story and Foodie Truck be the same sort of thing. I got a chuckle out of Abby doing the whole "person who works at food source" shtick. And a little spotlight for Bert is nice. That Steph/Ashley Curry thing was so directionless. It really...

(Preface: I don't know any real details regarding the merger despite being a part of TP). They use WordPress with no custom domain name, so I don't think money is/was the issue. I think the problem (not for us, but for the owners) of the Mindset was the commitment to having something published...

Both outfits are vaguely magician-like, so it could be either one. He also claimed he once performed the original Elmo, so his memories aren't 100% iron clad.

I think the real reason is that there was no Muppet Wiki back then, so nobody was obsessing over minutia and minor characters. And also the bands appeared infrequently enough that nobody really cared.

I see that if a (new) street story doesn't center around Elmo, he's still going to be there to kick it off. Sheesh.

The 50 Years DVD does look awful, because really you're looking at an SD version of something produced in HD. That said, the copies of certain bits on there are inexcusably bad.

Does it matter?
