Ah, I see. They took the premise from a street story last year (where they sing a bunch of songs to some sad fruits) and did it again. And it was just as flimsy (Elmo's song was catchy enough, I'll admit). Man, why couldn't all the "I wonder, what if..." bits be little comedy skits instead of...

People can wear whatever they want as long as they're comfortable.

New album! https://sesamestreet.lnk.to/ComingTogetherIA The majority of songs are from the recent "Coming Together" web videos and specials, but it also has "Rhymes with Mando," which is one of the best Sesame songs of the 21st century.

I think it has something to do with not wanting to show dismemberment, no matter how cartoony it may be.

Nah, that's definitely Jerry on set. The first scene might seem wonky because he's doing it left-handed.

Nice to see not one, but two gay couples in the show. I think that was the way to do it - not do a whole street story around them, but just casually introduce them and make no big thing of it. Rest of the story was...cute, I guess. I swear, Nina's niece is the same little girl from the new In...

It doesn't sound like he's in one of the upcoming episodes (#5134), but so far he's been in every street story. He's also in every cold open and closing, the "I Wonder..." things, the letter/number intros, the segues in the middle, and Elmo's World. That's a lotta Elmo.

I mean, have they? I can't remember the last spoof thing they did online (The Monster Mash one?). And I think there's more Elmo in the show now more than ever, so I wouldn't say your second notion is true either.

Do, like, have bookmarked posts of negative reactions to Muppet things?

Some amusing lines here and there, and good to have the Count around; dude's been MIA all season. That bowling ball animation felt like something from the old days, but it also felt like they were dictated a strict script and it left no personality to it.

Yes it did. It's just not on Hoopla yet.

I still do. Even though our state's at 50% vaccinated, it's still best to wear a mask out of respect for those who haven't gotten vaccinated.

Slight. They premiered it to actual paying donors on the 2nd, then I think yesterday or the day before they posted on social media that they were making it public.

Joey came back to write this, huh? Curious...

Well, not childless adults like you or I. But parents probably are.

For the actual new content they're producing for HBO Max...?

Kinda how I expected it, but I thought we might get a little more of the other characters (like Prairie maybe?). This is probably the most Oscar or the Count have done all season; where they been at?

I can only assume it's a Memorial Day weekend kinda thing. It's just the same six hours, I think, repeated over and over.

I wouldn't call it weird. I don't know why they didn't have credits on every show in the first place. And the time-frame thing is just my own speculation. It doesn't really add up that certain segments will be in one episode, but then cut from another one. Maybe trying to reduce the amount of...

It's different for everyone. Beyond a sore arm, I felt fine.
