BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

Inside Edition had a segment on their show today about the Alcatraz-esque island outside Seattle where violent sex offenders are relocated to a facility permanent after they had finished their prison sentences. Anyshoe, they were interviewing some of the offenders who were sent there... and...

Chris Cerf is still with the show!

Like what? I don't really watch 60 Minutes, but I'm interested in hearing what he's talking about. But again, yeah, I guess with other original SS musical greats like Joe Raposo having passed and all, I guess I was under the impression that Chris Cerf was as well... that last I saw of him was...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

It's not even the middle of spring yet, April's just getting started, and already the temps are reaching 90 today. :grouchy: Not sure what kind of summer we're in for this year... admittedly, even though summers are usually unbearably hot and humid here in K-Town (blame that sub-tropical...

    New Scooby Doo Show?

I realize that, but still, I mean, it seems like Scooby Doo's got more TV shows (and movies and such) than any other franchise out there. Hmm... yeah, good point.

    Lots of MUP3's, Wanna Trade?

Could someone possibly send me "Big Bird, Oh Big Bird" song from Noggin when they used to love SST Unpaved?

    Confessing Crushes...

I don't think I've ever heard Stephen Colbert sing before, but I heard that his American National Anthem/Canadian National Anthem Mash-up was pretty hilarious.

    New Scooby Doo Show?

HOW many Scooby Doo shows are there already? Gee... I thought it was CATS that had nine lives, not dogs...

Rumor: Big Bird only in four Season 41 episodes

Lol... and after Donny Osmond of all people recently denounced her.

    Ding-Dong! You're Wrong!

I got to thinking - this used to be like one of Oscar's little catchphrases, but now I can't even remember the last time I've heard him say that. BIG BIRD: Hey I know Oscar... Santa Claus covers himself in butter so he can just slip down the chimney! OSCAR: Ding-dong! You're wrong! TELLY...

Rumor: Big Bird only in four Season 41 episodes

You know, really, I've been watching more old school SST lately (not just the DVD sets, but like old tapes and everything), and I noticed something I haven't seen in a long time that I really miss - kids actually wanting Big Bird to play with them, in one way or another. Not even verbally...

    Confessing Crushes...

"If I Didn't Have You" from Quest for Camelot was one of the freakiest things I ever saw and heard, but I did like the verses Eric Idle sang.

    Non-Muppet MP3 Trade Page

Does anyone have The Platters' "The Great Pretender"? I've found it on YouTube, but it's either slowed down a bit, or in PAL format. If anyone does, please PM me.

D'Snowth's Scale Model of Sesame Street

I didn't think I'd ever really make anymore changes to the scale, but I kind of have... For one thing, for some reason, I felt the need to separate the arbor and the garden... so now, the carriage house is scooted closer inward, there's a broad fence between it and 123, so now it's like the...

What song can you not get out of your head?

Haw! It IS easy to get THAT song stuck in your head if you're not careful! :p As for myself... eh... just the song I was refered to last weekend... lovin' it, lol. :flirt:

Would FTB and EIG Have Been Better or Worse if...

Unfortunately, it's because that's become the inexpensive, more economical way to make movies, as opposed to building actual sets.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

I don't know about that... I'd say more like... THE MIDDLE... O.O    Either the Google buy-out, or last year's Beta Channels was the beginning I think...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Are you serious about Facebook trying to look more like MySpace? Granted, I haven't logged on to my Facebook since the week I tried it for last year and didn't like it, so I don't know what they're looking like now... but yes, MySpace has been trying to Facebook-ify themselves for months now...

Would FTB and EIG Have Been Better or Worse if...

Yeah, I would agree, and even Jim has said he loves to get to film Muppets on location, in natural light, because they not only look better in the natural lighting, but they also look more natural, and an actual part of our world, and I would agree.
