I'm sure.
I guess I'll take that into consideration for future reference then.
With most of the work I am doing now we do wire removal in post-production so to be honest I don't think about rod thickness much.
That kind of takes away a certain something from the puppets when that's done... I...
Well, speak of the devil...

I almost forgot about how they redid the carriage house that season with all the animal murals and everything... probably to show that it was Gina's vet office... but then...
Well, we have "What Made You Smile Today", "What Made You Frown Today", "What Made You Laugh Today", "I Did Something Stupid Today", "I Saw Something Weird Today", "How Are You Today" threads... we might as well have a "What Scared You Today" thread to go along with the lot.
Anyway, here's...
Sometimes I get to wondering, with Big Bird's nest area being blocked off by a collection of construction doors, what could have possibly been planned for construction in that area?
At the same time, I've seen a lot of pictures of Harlem and the brownstone houses that inspired Jon Stone to...
Isn't the thiness of the rods something to take into consideration to minimize visibility?
As for length, I basically always have to take the hangers apart, straighten them out as best as I can with pliars, then again, cut them to the desired length; I wouldn't recommend just cutting the...
Are you refering to the robot? If so, the writers phased him out, feeling that the character simply couldn't go very far with him always doing the opposite of what he's supposed to; the book Sesame Street Unpaved even says "if he was supposed to be a hit, he wasn't."
There was an episode, maybe the same one Oscarfan is thinking, where Ernie was pretending to be a cowboy for a day, while Rosita is TRYING to teach him various little details of Hispanic lifestyle, but between him and his play horsie, he doesn't pay attention and doesn't listen to her, which...
Nope. Look on YouTube for the opening credits, and the title card says "Warner Bros' Histeria" instead of "Steven Spielberg Presents Histeria".
But again, it's essentially like maybe Spielberg's red-headed stepchild show or something...
Not surprising at all.
Okay, so now, we need to go over to SW and tell them that they owe us something like "The Best of Ernie and Bert 2" or "Another Celebration of Me, Grover", etc.
Heck, "The Best of Ernie and Bert 2" could consist of some of the more modern, yet memorable...
Speaking of Histeria!, until recently I was under the impression that that was another Steven Spielberg/Warner Bros. collabo, but apparently it was strictly a Warner Bros. cartoon... it's funny though, because the brand of humor and animation was pretty much identical to that of Tiny Toon...
As far as bending is concerned, I've also found that you can get a better overall manipulation of the hands and arms, if the end of the rod is bent slightly, so that it can be inserted into one of the puppet's fingers (you can notice this with earlier, floppy-fingers monster Muppets, where you...
A simpler method, and probably less cost-consuming would be to save up old-fashioned wire coat hangers; they can be cut to the length you want, and can be painted black (or other colors for chromakey/bluescreen-greenscreen work), while similar colored duct or masking tape can be wrapped around...
Has anyone seen this show on A&E?
Granted, I'm not usually one for reality shows of any kind (I've even lost the only interests I used to have in Nanny 911 and Trading Spouses), but my mom has gotten me hooked on this show, and it is absolutely UNINTENTIONALLY FUNNY!
I mean seriously, for...

I haven't seen this movie before, but it looks like the Hogan's Heroes of animated features.
No wonder the Nostalgia Critic had that W T F look on his face when the Elvis sequence was used at the tail end of his Top 11 Villain Songs review... but...
