It's KINDA true... YouTube was bought by Google a few years ago, so they kind of have been a bit of a corporate site, which is probably the main reason why they don't even listen to the YOU in YouTube anymore.
Somehow, I kinda knew it wasn't going to be an April Fools joke... I've seen them trying to slip this in on us for about a week, but it looks to be permanent now.
Oh yeah, that worked like a charm in getting them to NOT force us all to use their new Beta Channels last year.
Figures they'd wait until I return to YouTube (STILL under protest) to frog up the site again...
I see this time, they've done away with the standard star ratings system, and now we're stuck with giving a video either a thumbs up if we like it, or a thumbs down if we don't.
That seems...
I never mentioned those episodes, because I had taped them, so they didn't quite stick with me the way other episodes have that I've mentioned, but those were memorable, weren't they?
No... they were produced in November of 2000, and aired in March of 2001.
HOWEVER, the Hooper's Store fire...
I didn't celebrate April Fools day here this year, NOT because of Ed's decision to go ahead and tag threads that acknowledge today's date, but rather, after my whole "I don't like Kathy Greenwood anymore" stunt THREE years ago, nobody I know from here falls for any of my stunts anymore...
You sure you're not clicking links that were shared by someone of a different nationality? Sometimes if someone from the UK shares a YT link with me, it'll say uk.youtube.com, and so on and so forth.
I went on deviantART today and everyone's avatars were changed to animated avatars of various "teams" (ala "Team Edward", "Team Bella", "Team Jacob", "Team Gaga", "Team Team", etc). Mine's been changed to "Team Jacob" apparently, lol.
Nice April Fool's gag.
See? People who haven't even had the chance to look over this thread yet will already know not to even bother looking and taking it seriously, because it's already been tagged when the entire day isn't even over yet, and lots of people haven't even been on yet today.
Well gee, I mean it's just now the beginning of afternoon, most people won't even be getting on here until later this evening after school or work and such... for the thread already being labeled as such, that kind of already kills it for tons of others who haven't had the chance to look at it...
I've brought this up a few times, but I don't believe there's ever really been an explanation behind it, so I thought I'd bring it to attention here for some queries about the moderation of the Sesame Boards...
One thing that I find rather puzzling is that movement of a lot of threads - we...
I'm dismissing Kiki since she's Australian, and probably has an accent of her own...
But I have to ask the question... WHY to chicks dig British accents so much? Like a silly Hogan's Heroes comic on deviantART where a bunch of fan girls end up inside the prison camp, and they all go for just...
That's exactly how I feel about it... I mean sure, if EVERYTHING was "perfect" about the end results, naturally I would be impressed, but in all honest, I'm just interested in a good performance, even if it has flaws... even if rods are visible... even if you can see the strings... even if maybe...
In regards to my previous statement about removing arm rods in post production... I THINK Sid and Marty Krofft might understand where I'm coming from...
Back in the 60s with the success of Topo Gigio the mouse on The Ed Sullivan Show, they tried to do an act overseas with "stringless"...
Well, they had two different Rocko shirts - one was brown with a wonky looking Rocko and Heffer admist the RML logo, while the other was a bright turquoise, with just him with the logo, and both were girl shirts.
And for the Courage shirts, again, they didn't run up in my size (curse my...
Whoa, talk about some disappointments...
I saw the Courage shirts, but they didn't run in my size... and then on top of that, the Rocko shirts were girl shirts. :smirk:
