Now those were the ones that depicted them like they were back in the 60s, right? I would've liked to have gotten those, I tried to bid for a set of them on eBay a few years ago, but that was right at the time they changed their payment policies where they made PayPal exclusively the only form...
Okay, I just read the most ridiculous thing today...
This guy in Vermont is suing Chick-fil-A, because he claims they plagerized their business slogan "Eat mor chikin" from his business slogan which is "Eat more kale".
I've seen the ads where you can make your own Chipette, but then again, there actually isn't a Build-a-Bear in this town... if there ever was, it probably went out of business a long time ago, the malls in Knoxville are practically ghosttowns anymore... but then again, I've hear Build-a-Bear's...
I know how much you love those random outbursts Drtooth, well, I had a similar experience watching the preview at the movies, because the only thing from the trailer that really made me laugh out loud was when they all find one little piece of food, but before the rest of them could react...
I was really taken by surprise when I saw the Brave trailer in the theater, because I had never heard anything about the movie beforehand, and I thought that all Pixar was working on right now were sequels (and in MI's case, a prequel).
Yeah, I knew this thread should have just been left alone in the Muppet Headlines board, that way more people would notice and see it...
But anyway, you guys had your chance to leave all the comments you wanted to gloat about how I was wrong, and you guys were right, but I have to re-disable...
*Nods* Yeah... I have the Fisher-Price set, first thing I ever got off eBay (just wish I had the Little People characters), it's the best playset that's ever been created in the past 40 years... even the 40th anniversary set made by Fisher-Price pales in comparison (it's more like the Playskool...
Are you sure about that date Sarge? I would think 85 rather than 75 (around the time the original Fisher-Price set was released).
It makes sense though that Illco would knock off Playskool toys, because again, so many aspects of the Illco set is identical to the Playskool set... yet funnily...
As a baby, I had a few SST toys manufactured by Illco Toys, including their version of a neighborhood playset, with Hooper's Store and 123, connected by a piece of cobblestone and a tunnel entrance in the shape of the carriage horse garage doors and such.
I was wondering though, is this...
Mew didn't "die" he was "frozen forever"... there was some kind of nervous reaction all of the toys had whenever they ended up getting caught out of the position they were supposed to be in, or they were last left in, and as a result, they become so afraid of being caught to the point they're...
I'm not entirely sure, but I do believe in some cases, not all obviously, but some, the plots and premses used for like some ofthe movies, specials, shorts from the series and such were adapted from the strips.
I too was watching yesterday, and I was reminded of how much I love the Peanuts...
I'm not sure if I should mention this, but I'm genuinely curious... with all the talks of stereotypes and such, would anyone ever wonder if perhaps Horatio might be seen as sort of a gay stereotype? I mean he's a male character, who dresses in a tutu, and arguably has a rather effeminate manner...
So... in addition to Loser Nephew Toby and his apparent Loser Girlfriend Mary Sue... arethey bringing back Uncle Ian again too?
I saw the trailer for Chipwrecked in theaters yesterday when I saw The Muppets, and I thought I saw an "awkward" moment between Dave and Ian which made me wonder if...
I mean I never really got into anime as a genre much anyway... I did get into Pokemon when it ifrst hit the U.S., but I fell off that bandwagon well into the 2000s, it just got so hard to keep up with... I did occasionally watch French-based animes like Hamtaro and Totally Spies as guilty...
I'm thinking the former, considering I'm sure as you get older and as you age, there are certain things you can't do as well as you used to when you're younger, and that can include voices... believe me, when I was younger, I could really do some great falscetto voices, pretty much lik Elmo, but...
Something these gay-bashing uber-conservative Republicans should take a hint from... after all, they all claim they follow God's example and live a Christ-like life, yet they're more judgemental than Simon Cowell.
