TV Alert: Muppets on The Chew November 23

That makes sense, as Bill seems to do all of Jim's other characters now like Dr. Teeth and Rowlf... I should've guessed, lol. And you know, I always thought Swedish Chef was one of those rare cases where the second puppeteer did both hands.

TV Alert: Muppets on The Chew November 23

Well, some of it was shown above the counter, because I remember wondering if like a wrangler or someone tagged along with Steve,Eric, and whoever did the great job with the Swedish Chef for that sort of thing. Who is doing Swedish Chef these days, BTW? I know I could just look at Muppet Wiki...

    Oscar hosts...the Oscars?

Well, Neil Patrick Harris is in that same boat (not daytime television, but still television), yet he was up for consideration as Oscar host as well, simply because of his popularity... personally, I'm getting a little tired of him, especially those awful commercials he does (as well as Jane...

TV Alert: Muppets on The Chew November 23

At the end of their first segment on the show, with that Greek guy with the pig tattoos on his chest that Piggy was so impressed with (yeah, I don't follow these food networks and shows, so I don't know any of these guys).

TV Alert: Muppets on The Chew November 23

I don't know, but I do know that some bad camera dynamics resulted in Steve's head getting caught in the frame for quite some time.

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

You forget something: they made her an awkwardly stupid (or stupidly awkward, whichever you prefer) character for this new show. I think Kristen Wiig now voicing her for some reason may have something to do with it.

OK Guys..... TIME TO GO BONKERS!!!!!!

Finally he starts mingling with the common folkses again.

TV Alert: Muppets on The Chew November 23

You know, I would consider it taking my life in my hands cooking some sort of pork-based dish in front of Miss Piggy. :p And I SWEAR, I thought The Chew was supposed to be a joke! Seriously, Drtooth made it seem like it was all a joke, I'm still shocked this thng is for real!

This is fantastic, I love it, thanks a lot! :excited:

    Oscar hosts...the Oscars?

Well, a couple of weeks ago or so, when Eddie Murphy announced he quit as host, there were rumors about who would replace him, including the Muppets... the anchors on the local news were like... "The Muppets? Really? If that were ture, I don't think I could even watch the Oscars then!" "Yeah...

Is anybody else just sick of Ice Age?

Um... I think we already have a thread about this... I'm pretty sure, because I think I was the one who started it (about Ice Age being Blue Sky's answer to Shrek and such). Personally, I loved the first one, loathed the second one with a passion, the third one seemed like a rip-off of Land of...

Anyone else think that D A is a bit stuck up?

I kind of get the feeling the AVGN/NC-esque feud between myself and my arch nemesis has pretty much come to an end, or at least a stalemate... she hasn't really made a nuicance of herself or anything in a couple of months now, and even surprisingly favorited somethng of mine a while back... but...

Anyone Find The Lack Of Muppet Merch Disturbing?

This kind of adds more evidence to my point that Disney buying the Muppets is another example of these big conglomorate companies buying up smaller franchises simply for the sake of ownership, and not really wanting to actually do anything with them... not just now, but for like a year now, if...

    Attention YouTube puppeteers!

You know, I might just actually want to contribute something myself, lol. And who knows, I may actually do a good job, considering everybody tells me I'm such a cynic anymore anyway, haha.

    Walter Puppeteer Auditions

Is there nothing about that on IMDb under trivia? I mean, I haven't read anything about it myself, but there may be some sort of info about that sort of thing there.

    A Continuation of Toots' Tune?

It says I need a password to access it... :smirk: And that's great to hear... I was surprised to see Jacksboro Pike just recently became it's own succeeded community (like Powell or Farragut)... I guess they got cocky and decided that didn't want to be a part of Fountain City anymore.

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

Well, I live in Tennessee, Knoxville to be exact, and admittedly, Knoxville is like a hundred years behind as opposed to being ahead... but I do mean to say that the term "mammy" hasn't really beenused in a long time, but growing up, I did hear it a lot. We mentioned that before, and IIRC, I...

Question about Jim Henson's Performer Credits on SST

Well, as far as SST goes, it wouldn't work, because he didn't create SST, he just contributed Muppet characters to the show, whereas Schulz created the whle kit and caboodle as far as Peanut specials go... if anything, the one who would get the "Created by" or even "Developed for Television by"...
