Caroll Spinney's Big Bird or Matt Vogel's?

I've noticed that Matt's Big Bird seems to be used almost exclusively for footage involving Big Bird being chromakeyed (ala the old "Journey to Ernie" segments and such); as far as the vocal performances go, I could tell a slight difference at first, it seemed like Matt's Big Bird sounded...

    The Chipmunks

Y'know, I like the coloring that they used for the cover art, I find it very riminiscent of the 80s/90s cartoon, which seemed to use a lot of those soft pastelly/somewhat neon colors and such... though I see they changed the color of their eyes to match the CGI versions, which gets me to...

    RIP Harry Morgan

If you haven't read by now, I'm dealing with the after effects of a nasty virus that has corrupted my computer. But yes, I too am really sad about Harry Morgan's passing... he seemed like Abe Vigoda for a while there, y'know? Like nothing could kill him, but then again, you have to remember...

I Must Be More Stupid Than I Thought

Yes. I'm you before you had your sex-change operation, and legally changed your name to Ozy. :p :p :p I know, I know, I know... I've had the computer since 2006, but apparently, it was already a year old when I got it, so safe to say it's about six years old or so, and I pretty much used/use it...

I Must Be More Stupid Than I Thought

And a lot less tech savvy than I like to think I am as well. I mean, seriously, no one else around here at MC seems to have anywhere near as much computer problems as I do (except maybe for when Sarge has to deal with dial-up)... how many times have you guys heard me rant about whatever is...

Anyone else think that D A is a bit stuck up?

And now I have no sound//audio on my computer anymore, so now, I can't watch/listen to anything on YouTube, edit or record anything with Audacity, just about the only thing I can do is listen to something in Media Player. Woo-hoo... :smirk:

    Jim Henson on Ethics

Another thing to I guess that would set me apart from Jim as a puppeteer is that, let's face, you pretty much have tobe a extraordinary puppeteer to be a Muppeteer. Wheras with myself, it's actually quite a paradox in that, I don't necessarily need extraordinary puppeteers, what I look for is...

Anyone else think that D A is a bit stuck up?

Yeeeahh, that didn't help, because I didn't really understand it... and the things it did pick up during it's scan looked legit, so I wasn't sure if it found anything or not. The guys at the shop feel the best thing for me to do would be to reinstall Windows (I guess I could try and upgrade...

Anyone else think that D A is a bit stuck up?

Well, looks like dA's gone back to featuring virus-ridden ads again, as I've been plagued by our old friend XP Security again, like I was back in Feb of 2010... only this time, it would seem the virus has upped its ante, as now I've got all these processes I can't get rid of like ping.exe and...

Rewind Reviews: A Special Sesame Street Christmas

Man, that guy sucked! He was the only one in that montage who wasn't funny, he should have done everyone a favor and just not contribute any input to this review in the first place. :p ;)

Where's the love for Rocky and Bullwinkle?

One thing that I find interesting is that whole "defamation" lawsuit of sorts (sort of) filed by Derwood Kirby over the whole Kurward Derby thing, but that's really not the only time something like that has happened on Rocky and Bullwinkle: another example I can think of is from a Fractured...

What is your wish for Christmas?

I wish my folks WOULDN'T get me anything for Christmas, but it's like they simply cannot accept the idea... I never want anything, becuase there's really nothing more that I need... but still... I GUESS I COULD wish for a new computer... something with a good-sized monitor, I don't like how...

The Muppets: Muppetational Mayhem (Sequel to The Muppets)

I'm not finished just yet, but I'm really liking what I'm reading thus far, I think it's a brilliant idea to have the villains of the Muppet movies band together for a common goal... and boy, Tex Richman in drag makes for a scary mental image! :P Must read more!

"The Muppets" What were you half expecting

It's pretty much no secret to everyone here that I was half-expecting a bit more crude, low-brow, cheap-laughs sort of humor from Segel's script (not that I was WANTING to see that, but that's what I was expecting), so I'm glad that didn't turn out that way, I was glad to be proven wrong. I...

    Weekly Poll #1

IMO, I liked Caroll's Lefty: it was a pretty different character for him, plus, in spite of his early lip-syncing hang ups (which he did quickly overcome), the overall performance was more convincing, whereas with Frank, it was essentially like reverse Bert and Ernie.
