the glue u are reffering to is ment for STYRO FOAM, not foam rubber, its a craft glue, worth a shot , but contact cement is the way to go

well the way it is done, is to cutthe letters out of regular old upholstery foam, 2 to 3 inches thick. then dye the foam, then you need to cut a small mouth, and figure out were you will mount a rod to hold the letter up, to make the mouth move use some fishing line, or invisible thread...

well to make the skull i was taking about you need to sculpt a model in clay or wood, then do the fiber glass casting over it that way you can determine were the sockets are and you can build it to fit your fram and your hand
