sounds to me like you just got lucky, most of the guides, or "SHOW BIBLES", are kept by the production at the end of a show, seems like one got out.i would learn all i could form it if i was you, u are not likely to find another one,
enjoy it!!!
nothing like a last minute plea for help, why not just right something quick, you arnt to specific about what you need, and i dont think many of us here have scripts lying around waiting to be used, good luck anyway
one more thing , the majority of the crank yanker puppets were Built by DEN DESIGN for the first and second season, Rick did build some puppets , but not the main puppet Characters, after the second season the puppets were built by freelancers in LA, and New York,
By this point Avenue Q was...
just to clarify this,
most of the puppets in the video are new(at least all the female puppets, they had issues getting the old ones from the Crank Yankers production company, i also assume they were in pretty bad shape considering the hard use they ofetn got on set,)
any way the new...
The production will most likely be built by the LA shop, they do good work, thier and its more equipt to deal with a bild like that than the New York shop, which i am not sure is set up with a Foam Lap at this point , although it is possible, i havnet been thru thier yet my self, aslo , i believ...
i guess this is a old post but thought i would through my two cents in,
just concerning the tables, all the shops i have worked in have had the large woooden tables, with a plywood table top, but on top of that we place a sheet of HOMOSOATE, (not sure of the spelling )its a thick paper...
here is the article in question, i know someone started a thread about this somewhere, and i didnt post , because all though i had geard the rumors thru the grape vine i didnt want to speculate , but it does seem to to be true,
a real shame they did some fantastic work over in London,
June...
just thought i would post this here instead of contacting you directly,
so far i like the new fleece, the sample you sent was of the 12 oz.
will it also be avalible in a 14oz.?
nothing wrong with the eyes were thier are, it is a great looking puppet, and apears to be well made,
why should eyes always be on top???pretty boring if you ask me, original stuff like that is athe hallmark of a good builder, with a great imagination
just got the sample to day so far looks goood, im going to play with it a bit and see what i can do with it first before i pass judgement , ill keep ya posted
well if you are in town this weekend check out UNCLE JIMMYS DIRTY BASMENT, not for kids ROck And Puppet show, not sure about next weekend
its at P.S. 122 thursday though sunday this weekend
QOUTED FROM ABOVE POSTS"I'm heading down to NY for a quick jaunt (to take some workshops not related to puppetry) but I am a passionate puppet maker and the last time I was in the city someone told me that you can still go and peep into the windows of Henson's abandoned studio.
Is there any...
Flat Eric is not technically a "MUPPET", he was built by the London shop for a series of comercials, and was used in a a music video for MR OIZO, or something like that,
never saw him up close, but i always thought he was a pretty terrble design, didnt move to good from what i remember,
1)any film were they are remaking a book or movie,(FILM, NOT A SHORT CLIP< PARODY SKIT< OR THOSE FEW CLASSIC MUPPET SHOWS)
2)disney buying the muppets
3)EMTV buying the muppets

folks not evry puppet has foam running thruu it allthe way, try and use your imagination, what else do u think can ube used in a puppet?
alot of movment also has to do with how it is performed
minor factual discrepencies aside, i agree with just about everything Mr Moran wrote, lets hope that Fellow Brit Martin Baker can get some good stuff happening , he was thier in the begining and was a strong voice for the muppets all they way up to 2002, hes also a really great guy.
didnt mean comercially, but for your own, use, (or private shows )
just that your paying for a pattern that you will learn from, and always have to refer back to, so it is a good deal, just bugs me when people get something that they are always asking for, and then go, well i think thats to...
