just to clarify i cant be sure it was him, im not sure how much work he has been doing with sesame since Avenue Q started, and it could have been almost any one,
did not see it my self so im not sure , i know that Jonny T, use to perform the duck a lot, but it could have been anyone, since it was only a duck, if i see it any where ill let you know what i think

well this will be a issue you will encounter no matter were you buy your puppets,
thier are many reasons for this here a just a few
1) most likely you are dealing with ameteur puppeteers, who just by nature of thier inexpierence will be hard on puppets
2) no matter what mass produced...

basicly you want the stretch to run around the circumfrence of the head, not up and down on it
as for the fabric looking odd, it depends on what you are using, but generally no,

any way i worked as a intern way back when at the Swedish Cottage Marionette theate, and it was a total nightmare,
we did a traveling show for the 5 borrughs, and it was pretty much the worst organized thing i have ever done, poorly designed and built...

well just because we fix them doesnt mean they will get used out thier, it all depends on what happens on set, once they left the shop we dint really have any thing to do with them

i find it works better to round the edges of the foam so it fits inside with out squishing it to much, then glueing it in with contact cement , simalar maethod, just a different technigue
