Hey Vader Dentist? Dave?
I love you pictures, and this may seem like a silly question, but what kind of piano do you have there behind Kermit? I'd love to buy that for my home.
Thanks,

If you're asking for blue Grover's FIRST APPEARANCE, then it's most certainly:
"One of These Things" with Susan and Bob, for sure, from the season premiere of 1970.
Oh, could you just post the link for your review, please?
Instead of teasing us like this, just either divulge some more details or post the silly link! :)
Of course there are hidden trap doors that are virtually invisible on camera, but I wouldn't be surprised if the hidden area is built lower than the actual sidewalk.
Carroll Spinney even said that many Bubsy-Berkley water musicals were built on that stage at Kaufman-Austoria and the sidewalk...
Well, the show has moved three times.
The first years of the show was taped at a converted movie theater on Broadway on Upper West Side. Carroll Spinney told me you could still see the old move theater dome above 123 Sesame Street if you looked up.
Then it moved to Teletape Studios...
There were five test shows made in July 1969. They were broadcast only on a UHF station to 100 families in Pennsylvania and they were paid 100 dollars each to watch and tell them what they thought.
The actual national premiere on NET was November 10, 1969, 5 months later.
It's called
"Me/Yo"
It was featured on the season premiere of SESAME STREET in 1972 and was sung by two Anything Muppets, an American girl and a Hispanic boy voiced by Emilio Delgado ("Luis")
There are several audio versions of this song available, most notably a duet on the 1974...
It's a new special featuring Zoe, Telly, and Elmo.
It's actually very well done. Very informative for younger kids and teaches them all about Halloween and other autumn-based activities, such as hayrides, harvesting vegetables, and going apple-picking.
Here's a piece of trivia:
When ROSCOE ORMAN auditioned for the role of Gordon in 1974, he beat out Robert Guillaume, who went on to play Benson in "Soap" and "Benson."
Reason? Orman states: "Guillaume didn't have that 'Gordon thing.'"
I got one today at Toys R US.
People were buying that doll left and right. Every customer at the cash register had at least one. Someone had 3!
When I got to the store around 11:30, an hour and a half after the store opened, there were only 2 left.
But it's a cool package, I haven't...
