Most puppet builders I know start with foam and then cover it. There are certain types of puppets (usually ones with very little foam in them) where you might pattern the puppet in fabric and later add a foam insert.
Not to knock the good God fearin' folks at One Way Street, but I'm not a fan...
The Fraggle Rock portions of the episodes were the same (With the Gorgs, Doozers, Fraggles, etc.) but the segments with "Doc" and "Sproket" (they had different names in different countries) were localized. Every episode had the same ending I believe.
I am not sure about the Travelling Matt...
It's not the same one, the one you have is a treatment by John L. Flynn (whoever that is) and is supposedly adapted from the original drafts for the entire Star Wars saga, or possibly from one of the early Star Wars treatments by George Lucas. I'm not sure how legit it is - but thanks for...
As Warrick and King Prawn mentioned, it's Under the Umbrella Tree which was a Canadian series produced in Ottawa Ontario for the CBC by Noreen Young Productions. The show featured Fraggle Rock vet Bob Stutt as Iggy, Noreen Young as Gloria and her brother Stephen Brathwaite as Jacob. Canadian...
Well I know from past experience alot of TV Tome's information is sometimes wrong, but I'm not sure in this case. I do know that there are no "unaired" episodes. Any episodes that might not have been seen during the original ABC run would have been later broadcast on cable (we had them on Family...
Hey Star Wars/Muppet fans.....TheForce.net just posted a script that claimed to be the production script for Episode III. Of course it's not, both the author and Lucasfilm have confirmed it's just a fanfic, but boy is it a great fanfic. Better than a few of the Star Wars novels I've tried to...
I (finally) saw it recently here in Toronto and it was great! A spectacular show, there's nothing else quite like it. It does appear to be a little cramped on the Princess of Whales Theatre stage here (it looked too small for the show). I've heard that the tour and secondary productions...
I'd love to see the old Filmmation "Masters of the Universe" animated series remade as a live action feature film.
Check that, remade as a good live action feature film.
It's been twenty+ years, but I think it was rebroadcast on PBS (they do that alot for SS specials - the network helps pay for them and PBS gets the second broadcast window). I remember watching this special as a kid with those annoying PBS pledge breaks interrupting it.
Also - for Ernie - you...
I fially found some 1/2" soft foam and was able to complete part two of the guide. Please forgive any grammatical errors as I just finished writing and it's 3 a.m.
Night!
I think it's actually going to be a feature film, but yeah it's pretty sad. I don't remember the series that well either, but I know I was a fan of it as a little kid. It's one of those shows like Emergency! where I watch them now and don't understand what I ever saw in them.
I actually think...
 See, I wasn't making this up....the latest on this is from Filmforce:
According to The World Entertainment News Network (via the IMDb), Warner Brothers has set its sights high for its planned feature film version of the TV series, The Fall Guy. WENN claims that Warners is "in talks"...
I'm not toastcrumbs....but my understanding is that the Henson townhouse is still around and there is some workshop activity of some kind in the basement (which housed the NY shop during the Muppet Show era). The workshop that was shut down was a separate building located a few blocks away.
Actually the edges of the wedge shape have should be rounded, but the cut edge (that is the 1/2" or 3/4" thickness of the foam actually cut by the blade) has to be straight. What I am trying to say is that, uh, the blade has to be held perfectly straight up and down as you cut....oh, ah, I'll...
