I was flipping channels this morning and caught Pip & Pop on CH TV in Hamilton, Ontario. They were on the morning news shows promoting BITBBH Live with someone from VEE and giving away tickets.
Did anyone else up here catch it? I didn't have time to tape it.
Check this out, it's pretty spiffy. I found it via Tough Pigs. It's a really nice, well done photo comic in the tradition of the ones that always get run in Wizard and ToyFare.
The same people who did this also have something called Statler & Waldorf's Insult-O-Matic which is kind of clever.
People tend to make a huge deal out of these things and panic because they see it on the news. When SARS was a problem last year everyone was afraid to come here to Toronto even though there was no real risk of contracting the disease unless you were directly exposed to someone who had it in the...
I haven't had time to read through most of it, but I found an interesting blog site with a lot of entries dealing with puppet stages.

I think there's just eight or nine episodes left in the series now. If this really is the last year it's a real shame. The WB will probably replace it with a lame series like Jake 2.0*
*With apologies to the five people in America who actually watch that show. :p
I posted a this link to an article about the Pufnstuf TV land marathon in my blog the other day.
In it Marty Kroft once again denies that he and Sid were using drugs when they made the show. They've been forced to defend themselves against these rumours for years. I'm not convinced that they...
Actually, brushes can be used as long as you want. I use just cheap painter's brushes from a local art store. The trick is to store the brushes in a jar or bottle partially filled with water. This prevents both the brushes and any residual contact cement on the brushes from drying out...
I don't think that in any of the North American cases there is any indication of the disease spreading to humans, so I hope this isn't too bad for the affected areas. They've had to kill something like 80 million chickens in parts of Asia.
Yeah, it's a real shame they are cancelling the show - this season started off a little iffy while they settled in to the whole return of Spike & taking over Wolfram & Hart storylines but they've just been knocking out one great episode after another lately. I only really got in to this show...
According to Neil Gaiman's bio Mirrormask is slated for release sometime this year. I think the original Neverwhere series (JHC is developing a film version) from the UK is either out or coming out on DVD soon.
Has anyone else seen this site? It's not related to the Comcast offer, but was set up by Disney shareholders Roy Disney and Stanley Gold to protest against Eisner.
I think you made some great points.
I hate to nit-pick over facts, but:
Actually declining CD sales is expected as artists release their 3rd, 4th, 5th album (though there's occasionally an exception). Britney and Christina are still so popular they're actually making more money than ever...
