Under the terms of their contract with Pixar, Disney will still control the films and distribute them (with appropriate profits to Pixar). Disney also has the right to make sequels to all of the films if Pixar declines to.
That's an interesting idea but I don't think it will happen for a...
The product you're looking for is called 1/2 dome eyes. They're much more durable and easier to work with than ping pong balls in my experience. The eyes come in a couple of sizes and are sold by a company called Mercury Plastics. Mercury only sells in bulk (I think their minimum order is 1,000...
They end up smooth because you are gluing the sides of each half to the other. The foam at the edges of each half naturally press together and come out smooth. This only works with contact cement though. It won't turn out as nice with hot glue.
This is what happens when you type fast. The email address is ineeded puppets4gs@aol.com. I did actually mean to quote $15 but the "1" got left out. Oops :o

I think you're referring to part two of my article "The Tumbles P. Bear Project" which can be found online at http://www.bear-town.com/backstage_pages/tumbles_intro.htm
If you're looking to just get started, Puppets For Goodness Sake sells a much better (in my opinion anyway) and cheaper...
I think what Pixar has going for it is that they are now a brand, one with a stronger reputation at the moment than Disney's. They've never produced a bad film, which is astonishing. The weakest one so far was A Bug's Life and even that was a solid hit. Wherever Pixar goes they will have...
I'm not sure. I don't think there is a definate plan, but probably. They wanted to do it because of the success of Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal on DVD. I'm a big fan of Neil's too - I actually haven't read much of his work other than his first children's book but I read his blog religiously.
