    Batman Begins...

Remember the photo was taken without the benefit of whatever lighting will be used in the film. Could end up looking a lot different in the movie.

    The Passion of...Peter Rabbit?

This is actually an odd thing specific to the holiday's English name, no other language describes it as "Good" Friday. In other languages the name translates roughly to Holy Friday, Sorrowful Friday, and Great and Holy Friday. Several hundred years ago "good" could be used interchangably with...

    Puppets and Pesticides

The only "safe" pesticides are organic and not terribly effective. I would take Beebers advice and remove the puppets.

Yeah, you can't skimp on the backpack frame, the good ones here cost $80-$120 US but prevent you from hurting yourself.

New 'Star Trek' Movie in the Works

I love DS9 but I think it was most "un-Star Trek" of all the series.

    Please Help...mobile puppet stage plans

There's a few designs I've seen but don't know of any URLs...try searching for Punch and Judy stages as some Punch performers use those. Many common puppetry books have stage designs in them. Check the library. Myself I would just make a PVC frame and find a way to mount it on to a frame...

Both the URLs at the top of this thread are no longer active. The "main.htm" URL is now http://www.bear-town.com/index.php This is an old thread. I was toying with doing Bear Town as a web comic but decided to go with video after realizing that it was going to be as much work either way...

Just A Man & His Tron Costume

This will be of interest if you've ever dreamed of making your own Tron costume (I for the record haven't), are a big fan of Tron or just kinda like seeing middle aged men in ridiculously tight spandex costumes. http://www.ibiblio.org/jmaynard/TRONcostume/

    Bear Town

I hope not...I mean I'd like some extra time but two and a half years is rediculous! I think the problem might be the date/time settings on the computer you're using. The countdown is calculated by a javascript that relies on the time/date on your computer to generate the countdown. When I...

    Looking for Muppet-like puppets...

Hi Cesar, Welcome to MC. As Pauly pointed out many of the folks here build puppets, but you probably won't find anyone more affordable than Puppets For Goodness Sake...their email is puppets4gs@aol.com The quality of their puppets relative to their price is just about unbeatable IMO.

    Strengthening endurance when performing puppets

If you do puppetry on your knees a lot be sure to wear good kneepads. It helps a lot.

    Strengthening endurance when performing puppets

Ideally you want to keep your arm perfectly straight, but also as relaxed and loose as possible. If anything ever feels strained in puppetry chances are you're doing it wrong. It takes practice to build up the necessary muscle endurance. If you keep doing it eventually it just gets easier...
