    The RHLC!

Behind the RHLC-ers, hehe, I like that! In grammar and middle school, I was told how important it was to write in script. I struggled a lot with it but eventually I only wrote in script. Then, heh, suddenly in High School I was the ONLY ONE who knew how to read and write script! :p I've...

    Put Down the Duckie celebrities

The Put Down the Duckie sketch was supposed to be a montage of the various celebrities they'd taped. Whoever edited the sketch had to decide what he/she felt were the best celeb moments for each line, that's all. :) They may not be showing it anymore because some of the celebs are dated. Of...

Sesame Street Old School DVD's: Not For Kids

The only thing that worries me is that I see kids today growing up not knowing basic cultural references, even things like A Christmas Carol, they've just never heard of them. And what is more, they don't care. If they've never heard of it, it doesn't matter. And I think that does start with...

    The RHLC!

Lol well cool! Oh listen, I've been there, I remember in middle school I got caught reading a Beatles book under my desk! :o Aww, well at least you know your talented will be appreciated next time! Actually the same thing happened to Frodo in Lord of the Rings. He was singng and dancing on a...

    Miss Piggy, annoying?

Yeah they were a much better pair in the end, I love when he finds her in "Somebody Dance with Me." (Of course...that could have been a different Chicken...knowing Gonzo...hmm...lol)

    The RHLC!

Lol, you definitely have a quirky sense of humor, which is awesome. And you're right, some day we'll end up running things! And definitely it's perfectly normal to get nervous over a speech. You just have to practice and try out different techniques that work for you and it gradually gets...

    The RHLC!

Speaking of Piggy and Richard characters, I always wish they would have paired Piggy and Janice more, since they were the two female characters and yet very different. Obviously Janice is much more laid back and certainly her relationship with her man is a little more peaceful, lol. Piggy could...

    Miss Piggy, annoying?

Yeah I did feel a bad for Gonzo's it's true. Though he started becoming slightly stalker like in that episode, lol. I felt even worse for Gonzo on Muppet Babies having a crush on that pickey Pig, hehe.

The Christmas Toy on DVD, No Release?

Definitely, it's always been my favorite Muppet Christmas special. I bought it recently from a third party seller on Amazon.com. I know a lot of copies are still available, if you feel comfortable going that route. But yeah, I do wish they'd give the special the DVD treatment. :)

    The RHLC!

Hey, it worked for me! ;) How was the presentation? I always get nervous when I have to give those. With me and speeches, sometimes it's great, other times not. I just mainly need to remind myself that getting too nervous will only be a hinderance. And you'll just regret it later on...

    Miss Piggy, annoying?

Sorry, I'm a huge Piggy supporter, hehe. Frank Oz is wonderful with characters who get extremely annoyed and frustrated when life doesn't go their way (Grover and Bert are other good examples of this). She's also unique regarding women in Television. She's not just prissy and sweet. Nor is...

    Roddy McDowall

That was my first experience with Lord of the Rings as a child, and I still dearly love that cartoon. Roddy took unusual roles very seriously, which is important for an actor. :) "Welcome to Fright Night"! I adore this film, lol. A few years ago I found out it was going to be on TV. I'd never...

Sesame Street Old School DVD's: Not For Kids

Which is a big reason why I don't think PC is the way to go. ;) You're right, South Park does not need to use foul language (though again, it's not for children). And definitely, not everyone has to like it. However personally, I think they do it in a humorous and well placed manner and not...

In what universe are today's kids' shows too "sugarcoated"?

Oh I totally agree! People don't always understand that there's a difference between mature adult humor, and immature toliet humor.

Sesame Street Old School DVD's: Not For Kids

Well again, I definitely don't think kids should be watching South Park. It's not the proper audience and they wouldn't understand what was going on anyway. I definitely respect your opinion, I just feel like PC issues such as crude language are overshadowing deeper ones. South Park expresses...

    Jim

Yeah I guess it is unusual for people to plan their memorial/funeral in such a detailed manner. But there are people who do, and perhaps it's a good idea. ::shrugs::

Sesame Street Old School DVD's: Not For Kids

Aw, no problem! I completely agree; it was a fantastic movie. I used to judge South Park (like a lot of people did) as being vulgar and stupid. But when I finally sat down to watch it, I realized it was one of the most intelligent things I've ever seen on TV. I'm not saying 8 year olds should be...

The Golden Compass Thread (Spoilers ahead!)

Lol, how true that is! It's just ultimately more entertaining to watch two extreme groups duke it out on TV (and never learn anything, and never reach any kind of truth). But in real life, most of the people you'll meet are fairly moderate. ;)
