Some of my favorite quotes are from that sketch
Piggy: I may be a nurse, but I'm a woman first.
Dr. Bob: Wrong, you're a pig first, nurse second. I don't think woman made the top ten.
Piggy: Kermie! Can you hear me? I will never leave your side until you have taken your last breath. (To...
- The ones where he would try to sell Kermit something he didn't need(earmuffs, nose warmers, etc.)
- Any of the Waiter sketches
- Any Super-Grover sketches
Mine would be:
1. Muppet Family Christmas
2. Christmas Eve On Sesame Street
3. Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas
4. Muppet Christmas Carol
5. Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
To answer the previous question about why the songs were cut from the video and DVD for MFC, I believe it has to...
Don't panic. The show will continue to be shown as far as I know for the next year. It moves to 4:00pm EST in Sept I believe. The Muppet Show will start airing as soon as the go through Muppets Tonight. I'm not sure if they will be airing from the first season or not. We shall find out soon...
I think this has been covered in previous threads. I think the consensus was most of us would love to have at least the classic skits(if not full episodes) on DVD collections, but it's highly unlikely it will ever happen.
Then again, they seemed to be testing the waters with the recent...
What are your faverite Muppet quotes?
Too many to name here.
Who is your faverite character?
I love them all, but if I have to pick one, I guess it would be Kermit.
What is your faverite Muppet Film?
The Great Muppet Caper
What is your faverite Muppet Song?
Again, too many...
Sesame Street, Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock were all part of my growing up. I saw all three of the original muppet movies in the theatres, some more than once.
I also remember playing with my Sesame Street Fisher Price playset with the finger puppets with my friends next door.
I used...
How about when Guy Smiley went on vacation in the jungle. The tour guide keeps asking him to be quiet so he doesn't scare the animals away, but of course, Guy can't help himself. He walks right up to each animal, describing each one, and finally confirms what each animal is, in typical Guy...
Big Bird was handing his friends pictures he drew of them(Susan, Gordon, Luis, Maria, David, Olivia, Bob). He also did one of Mr. Hooper. Big Bird asked where he was. The grown-ups looked a little uncomfortable and reminded Big Bird they told him Mr Hooper died. Big Bird said he would give...
There was one I remember with Ernie and Bert where Ernie wanted to play an opposite game. Bert of course didn't want to, but Ernie kept dragging him in by saying the opposite of what Bert said. For example:
Bert: I don't want to play Ernie, Forget it!
Ernie: And the opposite of forget is...
This probably doesn't count but the Ernie and Bert sketch where the TV kept flashing and saying "H". Ernie opened it up and pulled out a number of things starting with H(hambuger, hamster, hammer, etc). When they turned it back on, it started doing the same thing expect it was flashing "I"...
I also recall seeing her do a guest appearance on Happy Days. She played a deaf woman there as well. Fonzie was interested in her romantically, and learned how to sign "Happy Birthday To You" for her birthday.
I honestly don't remember. I saw it several times as a child watching Sesame Street(Canadian version) but I don't know when it first aired. From what I remembered, it was good(a little scary for me as a child if I remember when the Count hypnotized Grover, almost made him a bit evil). It was...
