I've always found Miss Piggy to be the least aggressive when she plays the role of Nurse Piggy in Vetrinarian's Hospital. Her famous ego hardly ever showed in the hospital sketch. Not only that, but she never ever karate chopped Doctor Bob or Nurse Janice. The three of them always seemed to get along remarkabley well.Unlike in Pigs In Space, where we see the more familiar side of Miss Piggy, and you can't help feeling sorry for Link Hogthrob and Professor Strangepork. She almost seems like a different person in Vets Hospital.I also notice how unlike their sketch characters of Doctor Bob and Nurse Piggy,Rowlf and Piggy aren't very friendly to one another on the odd occasions where they're in a scene together. My favourite of these occasions would probably be the incident where guest star Danny Kaye remembered Piggy when she was thin.Rowlf who was sitting at his piano laughed at the idea of Piggy being thin.Insulted,Piggy give one of her trademark"HIIIYAAAH"'s to Rowlf's piano, startling Rowlf. As far as I know,Janice was lucky enough to never have gotten any of Piggy's famous karate chops. Not that I recall anyway.I could be wrong.I know Floyd got hit by Piggy on occasion. :sympathy:  :flirt:

Hmmmm. Since you mentioned it, that's a very good point. In "Pigs in Space" she was always aggressive with her co-stars, but you don't see that in "Vet's Hospital." Maybe that's because it started with Richard's first season Piggy who was never quite as aggresive or egotistical as Frank's. I guess after the first season, they just stuck her with that personality for the sketch.

One exception of course is the Dom DeLouise episode, where she got big applause from her "paid-off" audience everytime she made a joke in that sketch.

I quite agree, especially about the early Richard Hunt version of Piggy.

Too cute- piggy's feelings were conflicting with Dr. Bob and Nurse Janice's need to help poor Kermie out. It's on the "It's The Muppets- Meet the Muppets" VHS tape fyi.

what about the one with kermit as the patient? ? ?
Some of my favorite quotes are from that sketch

Piggy: I may be a nurse, but I'm a woman first.
Dr. Bob: Wrong, you're a pig first, nurse second. I don't think woman made the top ten.

Piggy: Kermie! Can you hear me? I will never leave your side until you have taken your last breath. (To Dr. Bob) Do you think he heard me?
Dr. Bob: He must have, his pulse has stopped.

Dr. Bob: He's alright but it looks like he was under heavy sedation
Janice: He was under heavy sedation. A fifty pound box of sleeping pills fell on his head.
Kermit: It did not.
Janice:I know, but it's my only joke.

Here is why:

As we see her in the rest of the show, she is performing Miss Piggy--even in Pigs In Space she's First Mate Miss Piggy, and is still Miss Piggy.

In Vet's Hospital she's playing a character, Nurse Piggy, and the personality of the character Nurse Piggy is meant to be different other than Miss Piggy, so she acts differently there.

It's actor's professionalism.
