So I complained on social media about conservatives who are acting as though the Muppets have been "cancelled," and this one guy (who is a liberal, by the way) goes off at me because I talk a lot about "kiddie" stuff on my account and that I should stick to talking about more "adult" stuff like...

Well, look who decided to run his mouth again.

Everyone on the internet is saying how the show is improving, but I've seen some of these more recent episodes people have been praising, and honestly, it's still not doing it for me. I've accepted the reality that the show will never be what it was during the first three seasons and moved on.

Oh, this notion of categorizing The Muppet Show with preschool programming isn't anything new. I should remind you that at one time, The Muppet Show used to air during the Nick Jr. block back in the mid-90s.

For anyone that has not noticed, right-wing media has been going berserk over the content disclaimers for the Disney+ release of The Muppet Show. FOX News did a segment talking with Arkansas senator, Tom Cotton, about the matter where rather than explaining about why they felt these disclaimers...

As exciting as The Muppet Show being released to Disney+ is, I dread of how many songs are going to get cut. My predictions of which songs will be cut will probably be Do Wah Diddy, some Beatles' songs, and whatever did not end up on the DVD releases.

I remember when I first discovered this site back in the ancient year known as 2003. What I enjoyed about the site was being able to see all the Muppet Show episode guides (this was before Muppet Wiki was established). Glad to see that this is one of the few forums still active.

People did that on internet forums, too, and sometimes still do (especially if you've been on this one).

Look, as much of a "product of their time" some of these episodes might be, I don't expect people on Twitter to get worked up over the freakin' Muppets.

This officially makes up for the entirety of 2020.

Okay, if this tweet doesn't convince me that The Muppet Show is coming to Disney+, I don't know what will.

Stop trying to get my hopes up.

There appears to be a major Muppet announcement coming soon according to their latest social media posts. I don't want to get my hopes up, but it better be the thing all of us have wanted to see since the creation of a certain family-branded streaming service.

Fat chance! These days, they don't get random unknowns to do game shows. Now, they just get celebrities to host these shows. I hope I am wrong on this one.
