They probably did...and then had to cut it to fit 90 minutes. I do know of an entire subplot about a school play (perhaps mimicking the "Put that thing back Where it Came From or So Help Me" sequence from the first film) was lopped off, as was a callback to Mike and Sulley knowing each other...
We were specifically talking about a Christmas themed advert. It makes perfect sense that network would praise reruns of a show that's in reruns elsewhere. I don't see why some commercial with a clear expiration date of after Christmas is still hanging around.
Maybe it's some sale that...
And we're no longer able to remove crap from feed.
It's bad enough I get "US TOPIC POPULAR" And "WORLDWIDE TOPIC POPULAR" that I have to get rid of at least twice a week... now I can't even get rid of them.
That's really that recent, but it's a real difference from the forced cameos from other characters on previous spinoff shows. I just can't think of many other examples, though.
Ah. I bet this is the one that was initially going to be attached to The Good Dinosaur, before that movie was put on hiatus for a year (kinda disappointed on that one). I loved MU, but I really think they need to expand the universe with shorts and TV specials. There's so much untapped...
Like... new episode, yeah?
I love the lack of continuity. Rosita's Abuela can't speak English in her introduction... then she speaks full English sentences... 2 episodes later.
But this episode was worth watching for Baby Bear's technophobe Grandpa. And Baby Bear talking about gaming...
Well, last time the script was leaked. The initial one, at least. You can't get any more spoilery than that. Even blew the big surprise that the movie was going to end with Mahna Mahna.
Thankfully they were much, much more covert about this one.
And while I'm at it, I wish that the working...
That one was on every single commercial break last night. Yeah. Christmas is over, even by the 12 days standard. Why the heck is this sticking around? On the plus side, A) that annoying luxury car commercial with that dorky woman dressed as an elf saying "Wur gunna need a bicker...
My exact issue.
Just that one site, and just with that specific ad series. I think there may have been one other time, but ... words can't describe the horror of having to sit through those freaking commercials in a fruitless effort to get to the video... aw heck... I'll rant about those...
I only had problems specifically with Hulu. And the worst part is, it was specifically those freaking Geico ads. The fact they need a redundant ad border in the first place is bad enough. But that it controls when the video actually starts is terrible programming or a disgustingly ingeniously...
I'm going to add to this rant. I actually had to disable ad blocking software on hulu because of this extremely stupid glitch that was dropping my videos.
Now, the ads ran through the block. No surprise there (at least I didn't get the blank 1 minute message about how horrible I am for not...
You're getting Greg Berg confused with Gregg Bergger (SP?). The other Gregg is the voice of Odie, but Greg did do voice work for one episode of Garfield, I believe. He was a robotic comedian built buy Jon.
If you ask me, they need to release a box set of all the Elmo's World segments and end it right there.
Seriously, they still haven't finished the Ernie and Bert claymations.
Disco is DATED! Muppets doing Disco is never out of fashion. Muppets doing anything is never out of fashion.
I guess it was only on the list due to the thin connection between Disco and drug use at disco clubs, when Sesame Street only did Disco to parody the popularity of Saturday Night...
That and... well.. the network is owned by a toy company, and those other shows were to promote toy lines. In fact, MLP almost was going to be another thing completely, but Hasbro wanted one of their original toy lines instead of taking a risk with a newer one.
Dan does deserve something...
It isn't, but it's hardly what it was since television took away a huge hunk of the audience. Then again, just like television, the niche markets are shrinking. Unless you want Top 40 hits and loud mouth opinion heads, there's very little out there. And it's a shame, too. We keep losing...
