The heretofore unreleasable 1960's Batman show sounds like it is indeed coming to DVD probably.
Absolutely amazing if this is true. Probably will be pretty expensive if it gets released. Seems that there's a big marketing push for the series before this was announced with collectibles and...
Found out about that a while ago.
Even if the show was good, there's no way they could have had enough material to have a regular half hour sitcom. It barely would have worked as a movie.
Ah... yes...well... that's a segment that I rarely hear anyone talk about. Pretty unremarkable, actually. I agree with Sawings's quote on that video...
I've grown to loathe the term "politically correct" because it became a catch all term for those who are offended by people being offended about something. True P.C. is not being able to use the N word anymore, not some weird e-mail forwarded story about obscure school district not being able...
That's what I don't get. How come when it comes to internet piracy, the governments of the world is a powerhouse to be reckoned with, but when it comes to a bunch of nasty dorks that have nothing but time to program malicious coding to destroy private citizen computers... especially these...
Appologies if this was already posted...
I've never heard of that Grover segment where those kids gang up on him and sing about careers, only for him to say something about his ice cream melting.
I tend to think of it as a spiritual successor if anything. Not remotely similar not really having parallels (as of yet) other than being an international adventure.
It's complaints like "Ew! They're singing a song I don't like." and "YECCH! They're with a celebrity I don't much care for"...
You know what criticism of the last film I loved? When certain people complained that something that was exclusive to the show that was never in any way shape or form in any theatrical Muppet project wasn't in this film either. Usually a sketch or something. And TM had more Muppet Show in it...
Digital Magazines don't give you free posters either.
Sigh... I miss Nintendo Power. To think, all those times I almost bought an issue just for the poster and said "I'll wait till next time." There are no next times now...:sigh:
Double :sigh:, as most of my old NP posters have been thrown...
I'm going to reiterate what JVcaroll said.
There's constructive criticism, and there's being the party pooper that picks apart everything with such a negative vibe. You're not being told to shut up and praise everything. You're basically being called out on insufferable amounts of negativity...
The only print media I see going under with the advent of e-readers are magazines and newspapers... and most of them still are grasping tenaciously. And newspapers and magazines have had a steady decline before that technology existed anyway.
I doubt that's the case.
Though I'll say that Epicteus was completely pompous in his reviews, coming off as a smug film school dork who delighted in finding flaws in the film. Though, it seemed like he was completely blind to any subtext of the film and decried it for not being more obvious...
There are some valid points about the last film being fan fiction, but ...let's face it... without the fan perspective the last writing team gave, we'd be lucky to see some theme film that we'd barely be able to get excited about that would also skew to celebrities anyway. We'd also get a film...
You've proven the point that we desperately need a dislike button.
The article has nothing but excitement and praise, where are you picking the negativity from? Oh NOES! One of the human stars sings something.
This is nothing more than the same Geewunner whining that happens every time we...
