It's pretty disappointing that this set only has 3 new figures. Walter, Constantine and Piggy. I was really hoping for an expanded set with other characters this time around. If nothing else, at least new Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal and Kermit.
Well, it's a Disney film, so of course they're going to make it a Disney biased film. Unfortunately, the critics ripped the film apart for that, as if they expected a Disney film about Walt Disney to be critical of Walt Disney or something....
You see... this is what I've been saying all along. Madonna suuuuuucks. I mean, sure... she had a couple good hits in the 80's... but she's just awful. She's the reason why Dick Tracy never attained greatness. And that's, like, her best movie since no one told her she can't act. Everything...
It's the same sort of thing, anyway... cheap to produce programs to keep their FCC license while paying lipservice to the TV/EI standards.
Of course, I really hated what ABC Kids became before it turned into Litton's anyway. They just kept rerunning the same 12 episodes of Emperor's New...
Record labels, obviously. But her pop is pretty good for pop. Never was too big a fan of that genre anyway, but she at least can work that pretty well. But I agree a million times over, she needs more unplugged, jazz standards under her belt. I remember once laughing off Rob Stewart for the...
That was on cable. I never really caught it. But it was really refreshing to see a slovenly, masculine gay character on regular broadcast TV. Especially since Partners (that horrible KoMutt show on CBS that lasted a few weeks... a few weeks too many) humped that sad old 90's flaming, stuck up...
Not only that. That was a big stumbling block, but it was one of many.
The biggest problem was the celebrity and other character rights, especially the ones that popped out of windows. Biggest problem of all was the big cross over between Batman and The Green Hornet. A window gag is one...
Whitney supposedly won critics over the first season because it was a true to life look at relationships. Then they watched the rest of the episodes after the first and turned on it. They completely turned on it second season. Nothing but stale old jokes that even the lamest of 1990's sitcoms...
It's cheap, it's lousy, there have been hundreds of better nature programs... it's just a lazy, cheap solution for local stations to keep their FCC license instead of putting actual programming on.
While I can't say it's a fully changed channel, I'm none too happy about the live action programming additions, nor am I happy with Dreamworks clearly pulling the Classic Media shows (or charging too much?) that they used to air late at night. It's awesome they have like 2/3's of Archie's Weird...
Because qubo put live action crap on it's channel to entice teenage viewers (who would NEVER EVER EVER watch the crap they're airing), that's probably a good thing.
There was also a Starbucks puppet. That was alright quality, and it was certainly the better looking of the set.
But dang do I want that Constantine. Rowlf's amazing too... but there's just something about that smirk.
Once again, in three years it might end up on qubo. That's the most likely scenario. Unless it pulls a Turbo and ends up on Netflix or something.
I HATE Short run in Peru crap happening with the US and cartoon series... but then again, this is a Canadian Co-production series, so if anyone...
That's it exactly.
Hard drinks are alcoholic, soft drinks aren't. They're both terms that somehow are becoming archaic. At least, I don't know anyone who uses any of them anymore unless they refer to "hard" cider or "hard" lemonade.
But yeah... soft drink doesn't mean carbonated...
I just hope they rerelease some of the hot selling characters. I haven't got a single one of them from the last time. And between all the other licenses they have (and trust me, I'm seriously eyeballing that Doc Brown), there's just too many of these to collect.
Thanks for telling me. I finally got rid of "Homepage Popular" for the first time in a week. I just wish I could block it entirely forever so I never have to delete it again.
Now if only it would stop logging me out every time the system screws up. It happens almost daily now.
I remember hearing some really bad A Capella band doing the Scooby-Doo theme song and getting the lyrics completely wrong.
I couldn't name it or pick up any examples, but get the freaking lyrics right when you cover something, darnit.
