Hey, Dexter's Lab fans...
There's totally going to be a Dexter's Lab series as well come April.
So far, it's only a 4 parter, but PPG and Samurai Jack have expanded to regular series.
Still not as late as when the media finally got a hold of Rick Rolls. Really... there are some that still think it was funny.
Then again, animation lead time... they probably started production on the film at the height of his popularity, and it took 2 years to get it in there. I'll...
So, The first Nut Job Review surfaces, and to no surprise it's a pretty negative one. And this guy is usually pretty upbeat and forgiving. So...yeah.
But props to giving Canadian voice actor Rob Tinkler a major character (even though it's probably for some Canadian content thing). I find him...
I wonder that too. Always did. I remember they used to have juice boxes of Hershey's Chocolate milk and it always disturbed me somehow. And I keep seeing other brands of juice box style milk that's unrefrigerated.
And then there's Yoohoo. That has milk in it, right? I swear it does.
The Croods was surprisingly good, but it's best asset was the amazing visuals. If there was an animation technical award, it would deserve it. I regret cheaping out and not seeing it in 3-D. Though I do agree it's a huge disappointment Monsters University wasn't nominated. But then again...
I think it's all about availability and the whole budget issue with more performers per show. ETM especially, it seems like there's a couple where they have a big roster of performers, and others it's just Kevin (at the time, obviously) Leslie, Tyler, and Joey. I'm glad that they got Fran for...
Not only did the voice of Lemongrab voice the main character... looks like he's one of the creators, too.
I just caught the 4 episodes that aired, and I find them ACCEPTIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Seriously. THIS is how you do it, Adult Swim. Adult situations that work in cartoon form...
Funny thing is, NBC pulled the same exact crap with My Name is Earl. Only, in Earl's case NBC gave them a vague promise they would come back, and then pulled it out from under them at the last minute. Thus, MNIE ended on a cliffhanger.
But anyway, back to the point. The reason why sitcoms...
Nothing too remarkable this episode outside of the new Elmo the Musical. The opening story was boring. It's nice to have an episode speak directly to the little girls watching, but there was nothing special about it. I appreciate the whole bit about Princesses saving themselves, but it was...
If and only if they didn't rerun the crap out of it. Luckily, my local station that ran it into the ground got rid of it for The Middle. Seriously, those ABC sitcoms of the 00's were freaking awful. Though, I did like George Lopez. If nothing else, the play between George and the mother...
Tell you the truth, I don't see stores even bother carrying it anymore. It's the one Muppet movie I've never actually seen, and since everyone paints a very negative picture of it, I'm in no rush to bother. At least, anymore. You certainly can get much better stuff for the same 5 bucks anyway...
There are those who are annoyingly obsessed with one thing, often very specific, and they'll hound you to heck and back for it. Again, why I don't do any of that stuff. Of course, I'm not popular to have those problems, but... well, I'm glad no one's hounding me for Alpha and Omega crap...
Know what I wish? I just wish people would say "I can't find anything that resonates with me on TV" and leave it at that. I'm as sick of saying matter of taste does not equal quality as I am of reading about it.
There's always been forgettable crap. We just...well... forget about it. Can...
Not to say there isn't some well done fetishy-stuff. I just don't want a part of it, no matter how many million views those pages tend to get.
(looks at small page view count)
Kinda sucks to stand on a high ground...
Seems that Transformers Animated Wreck-Gar isn't the ONLY Hasbro owned character voiced by "Weird Al" Yankovic...
Ugh... and just when I successfully weened byself off of this show... they pull me back in, by Toutatis.
I especially liked how Pearl was essentially not paying attention to Steven and repeating the exact same thing he already said.
I get a LOT of that on this board from time to time.
That's why I don't do any commissions or requests. I want to draw what I want to draw. Or, at least what I'm inspired to draw at any rate. If I did, I'd be inviting fetish fueled fanboys wanting me to draw something fat or tied up underwater or something.
or worse... a show I don't like...
