I agree with you on the Linda comments. The characters acted like they've never seen a deaf person before. I can remember many scenes where Telly used to appear with Linda. Hard to believe he'd forget about that. He must have been hanging out with Forgetful Jones behind the scenes. Lol...
Thanks for the info. I got that voice in my head now. Yet, I still can't picture Telly ever sounding like that. I believe you, I just can't remember a big change in Telly's voice.
The weird thing is that I have seen Brian's Telly on "Plaza Sesamo" recently, but unfortunately since the...
I never actually noticed that, but when I think about it Regis has been fighting with Miss Piggy quite a bit when she's on the show.
I know Kelly likes the Muppets since she's mentioned "Sesame Street" quite often and was on the Elmo's World: Holday Special.
I guess Reege just has a bad...
Well, it's been a while since I've seen "Follow that Bird." I still don't recall much of a difference in the way Telly sounded then to the way he sounds now, except maybe that the voice is a little deeper. I might want to check on that.
Who was Tatooey in TMTM? If I can picture his voice...
I don't recall a big change in Telly's voice. When I grew up watching the show it was Marty performing Telly, though they still showed skits of Brian's Telly. I don't recall him sounding too different in some scenes than in others. It's too bad they don't play those early Telly skits anymore...
Actually, it's kind of hard to enjoy "At the Dance" segments from the first season since both Piggy and Janice spoke with their original voices.
I sort of enjoyed them more later on when Fozzie got involved. I also liked Piggy's and Gonzo's musical numbers. Also did Richard's Janice ever...
I've noticed in the first season when he was performed by Jerry Nelson, his voice sounded sort of like the voice that Jerry used for Mr. Snuffleupagus. I've also heard that he was performed by Dave and Steve, so he probably had a different voice later on. I've never heard him in anything...
Sounds good. I look forward to hearing it.
In response to what you said about JTE, I agree that Big Bird and Ernie were never as much of a classic duo as Ernie and Bert. I was thinking about that and maybe they should give Bert his own segment, maybe after Journey to Ernie. Then after...
I want to make a response to this post. I'm not sure either, but I'd like to make some input. If it came out in the 80s it was most likely Fred Garbo who performed Barkley in "Japan" and probably in "China." Imdb doesn't always have the most accurate information.
Yeah, I learned about that in Spanish. By the way, another way to put a ~ over an "n" is to go to MS Word and choose "insert symbol," then you can copy that on to here. They also have that at freetranslation.com. Sorry to bore you with all that, but being a Spanish major I thought I'd bring...
I really don't think I've seen "Big Bird in China." I remember seeing him in Japan years ago when it was on TV. I probably would have liked the China one better since the other Muppets make appearances in it.
Forgive me if this is the wrong forum for posting this, but I was at the Bloomsburg fair today and at the stands for one of the games I heard "Doo doo doo doo doo." After listening for a while, I realized it was that famous Muppet tune. Just thought I'd bring that up.
I glanced through a few segments, but I didn't see the main plot or Oscar singing "Bein' Green." Hopefully, I'll be able to catch it on Monday afternoon.
I agree with what was said about the commercial about the girl with the pancakes. I think they have too many ads before the show in...
I've noticed a lot of first season eps had closing numbers without the guest stars. I thought after that season, the guest always appeared in the closing number.
