I was thinking of starting a Roscoe Orman appreciation thread, but I haven't had the time. I remember so many moments on the show with him that it might take a while to post all I want to say. That's a good thought though.
I don't know if Hal's still living or not. I know Matt Robinson...
I haven't seen today's ep yet, but the listings for my local station say it's the one where Elmo falls in love with Gina. I'm guessing that's what will air today where I live.
I wonder why the "cookie flu" and the "waiting for Snuffy" episodes weren't shown lately. They showed all other season 34 episodes. Makes me wonder if there was anything in those episodes that the writers didn't think was quite suitable for kids.
Hmmmm. I doubt something like that would be on the show. He probably would have at least said "yuch" or something, but he does have a soft spot for kids and his worm Slimey.
I finally found the site. I only saw a few of them so far. My Internet connections too slow for me to be dealing with that right now. It is too bad that where Kermit says "he**" is just a pic and you don't actually hear him say it. Still everything else on the site is real good. I look...
I guess that was true some times, especially in "Follow That Bird" and "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street" where he had to get tough with Big Bird. But he just was like that because he cared. But then again, I guess Hal was like that too.
Sorry, Oscar. But we're entitled to our opinions. Lol.
Yeah, Oscar does seem caring deep down inside although he'd never admit it. He did seem proud of Telly when he learned the cheer. And of course he did want to show his appreciation to Gordon for helping Telly in his own grouchy way.
Hmmmm. I'd have to say both. After all, since she karate chopped Kermit or somebody in nearly every TMS episode, that is a bit bullyish. However, it is shown that she is kind and caring, specifically in TMTM when she got the group back together to find Kermit, then there's the Christmas movie...
That's possible. They said "kicks" don't count. I think she only kicked Mildred. Still, maybe there is some stuff she does that looks like a karate chop to some, but they count it as something else. Again, the one in the Kaye Ballard opening might not have been counted since they didn't...
Sorry, I guess I missed that post. Yeah, I was thinking about "Honk around the clock" too, but I guess they had to get 'rock' in there.
That's also interesting about the "ate" the letter joke, I majored in Spanish but I never knew about that. I wonder if the writers had that in mind when...
I've noticed a minor error on the Muppet Morsels. They were counting Miss Piggy's karate chops. They counted 21 for the first season, but I think they missed a few.
The first one was in the Charles Aznavour episode where Piggy knocked Kermit off the wall.
Then there was the opening joke...
I have to agree. Season one was great and all and it was good to see how the characters evolved throughout the season.
But I would like to see a complete season 2 since by that point all the characters are more like we know them today. I know Timelife released quite a few season 2 episodes...
I just noticed that today, but I don't think that the tune is exclusive to "Sesame Street." Wasn't that the tune of "Be Our Guest" in "Beauty and the Beast?"
A few comments on today's episode. I didn't get a pledge break today, so tI got to see most of the show. It is funny how Elmo gets...
