That would be cool. After all, a golden collection worked with "Looney Tunes," so why not with "Sesame Street."
By the way, I thought the segment with Whoopi was with Hoots where they talked about feathers, hair and skin. Or was there another one with Elmo? Just curious.
I think the 'skin' part of 'Elmo's World' has been done before. I wish they'd do some new 'letter of the day' segments like the one they had recently with Oscar. Also, were there any good Ernie and Bert clips (old or new) shown besides the one with the dinosaur? My station is doing these...
If that's the case though, why don't they use old Kermit clips anymore? All they need is to acknowledge that they had permission from Henson productions to use him. After all, Kermit is shown on Plaza Sesamo on a regular basis.
It's about time this thread was updated. I just watched the Ethyl Merman episode today and since I'm towards the end of the season, I've noticed the Muppet's look and sound the same as they do today. Piggy's pretty much always performed by Frank, Sam's look has been updated, the Newsman with...
Well, I don't think Telly and Oscar were never "not friends." It's just that he spent more time with Baby Bear. They just haven't shown too many Telly/Oscar moments in the new episodes.
Unfortunatley, my local station had a pledge drive today so they cut out the scene with Bert and Ernie and probably the one with Oscar. They were at the Number of the Day when they got back to the show and I stopped watching at that point.
I was a bit surprised to see Gordon in glasses. I...
It's good to find someone who's on the same page as I am. Lol. Unfortunatley, you don't see Roscoe and Loretta together too much anymore. They should do an episode where they have an anniversary party or something.
Hmmmm. I must have missed it then. I'll have to look for that next time the episode airs.
So now they have Oscar doing the letter of the day? I hope he doesn't put Cookie Monster out of a job. Also, it's good to see Bert in something new. I hope I can catch the repeat of today's episode...
While it was just something I read at "jump the shark." That wasn't my own personal opinion. Heck, I never even saw the guy on the show so I can't really have an opinion on him.
As for my thoughts on why he was a temporary replacement. I was just thinking that because I've noticed Matt was...
Yeah, I didn't catch too much new material on the show other than the street story and JTE. I did like that they did "That's What Friends are for Though." It's been a while since we've seen a classic Bert and Ernie segment like that. Unfortunately, I think they edited out the part where Ernie...
I've noticed "First Day of School" aired today. I didn't think the new eps would start until tomorrow since today was a holiday and some people have mentioned that they won't get the new eps until Tuesday.
As for the story book characters, I don't remember too many of them. Hansel sounded...
Yeah, I was thinking that it was Hal, because when I read his lines I didn't think it sounded like Matt or Roscoe. Also at the "jump the shark" site, somebody mentioned Hal Miller's Gordon having an "anger management problem." The Gordon there did sound a bit bitter. Just a few thoghts I had...
Thanks for posting that. I often wonder about Hal Miller. I'm most familiar with Roscoe Orman of course and I have found quite a bit of info on Matt Robinson on the web and in books, but Hal's always been sort of a "lost" Gordon. I also recall a few people saying they weren't too happy with...
