I have heard that there was a Muppet holiday special coming up this Christmas. So there's a possibility that's what it is.
Sorry about that. I'm repeating what other people have already said. Forgive me for that. I'm having a bad day today and I'm not thinking clearly. :sympathy:
That's alright, but still nobody's answered my other question.
Does anyone know why there were three different actors who played Miles?
Maybe he was just following the footsteps of his father. Lol.
Actually, I was thinking of starting a thread like this after reading the posts on the old Barkley thread. I guess great minds think alike.
There are quite a lot of great moments I remember with Linda. Including the time she filled in for Oscar in an "Ask Oscar" segment. I also remember...
I liked a lot of them: His version of the "Sesame Street" theme, "Mary Had a Bicycle," "Whistle, Whistle Little Bird, etc."
I agree with what you said about him being a positive character in street scenes though. I think they should keep him around. They'd just have to find a new performer...
I never really thought of that. I would think she meant by plane. It seems that any of Big Bird's relatives would be to heavy to be able to fly on their own.
But I guess it's possible that Granny can fly. The main reason BB gives for not flying is that "he never learned how." Maybe Granny...
That's interesting information. I'm not sure whether I got Mr. Rogers on my tape or not. So far, I just got the pledge breaks and Teletubbies. I guess I could look for it tomorrow afternoon. My local PBS station does reruns of "Sesame Street" on the following day at 1pm. I don't know if...
Yeah, I knew that. I just didn't think they went that far back. I just thought they'd stick with 90s episodes. I'm glad I'm wrong about that.
I would like to see PBS do that with "Sesame Street." Maybe air some episodes from the 70s or 80s before Elmo got popular. Heck, if they're...
I thought Herry sounded a little off in the Garth Brooks segment, but I guess that was indeed Jerry. They played it again this season and after listening to the voice again, I noticed that it was the same voice he always had, just a bit deeper. I guess my ears were playing tricks on me. Lol...
1981? I wasn't aware it was that old. I remember seeing it sometime in the 80s, but I would have only been a year old in 81 so I wouldn't have remembered. I didn't think they still played episodes from that far back. I wish they'd do that with "Sesame Street."
Hmmm. I think Fred was voiced by Jerry Nelson. That did sound like his voice.
I think you're right though. Somebody has mentioned that Jerry will still perform all his characters (except the Two-Headed Monster). He's not doing the wolf this season though, so I'm not sure. Hopefully...
What's strange about that is they're the only two original cast members still on the show today. You would think they'd be able to find bigger parts for them.
I'm guessing that around the time the movie was made, they knew that they would be getting rid of Ruthie soon so they didn't really...
That Muppet was used as Telly's sister Juliette.
Though I have seen her a few times on "Plaza Sesamo" where she was called "Mona." That's a bit strange.
