Hmmmm. It's hard to believe nobody commented on today's episode. I thought it was okay except I feel that maybe they should use less of Telly and Baby Bear and give some of the others more air time (Ex: Big Bird, Oscar, Snuffy, Bert and Ernie, etc). Also, it seems like most of the stuff on...
Yeah, I was going to mention that, but I guess everybody else beat me to the punch.
Kimp, I guess you meant to say 'a$$istant.' Strange, how they censor things like that.
I remember reading somewhere that Oscar found Slimey while taking a walk in the rain. He found that Slimey likes mud as much as he does. So he decided to take Slimey home. I haven't really seen it. It's just what I read, so I don't know the year or anything else.
Yes. I've noticed that. I also read in the lyrics archive about Elmo being the ringbearer. They really should have made a reference there.
He should have said: "There's Elmo in that picture! Now, Elmo remember! He was the ringbearer!"
We'll come back to David, but I want to add more to this Elmo discussion.
If Elmo had been around for so long it's funny, how in the "Street We Live On" the intention was for Grover to take Elmo to see the events that happen before he was born. However, most of the events took place after he...
Elmo's older than that. I think he started in the 70s as an anonymous monster and was performed by Brian Muehl and Richard Hunt. It was when Kevin Clash started performing him that he was known as 'Elmo.' I remember seeing that Elmo when I watched the show as a kid. It was sometime in the...
Strange. I was just thinking about this the other day.
I would think Kermit and Piggy would be about the same age. Also, considering they're close friends with Fozzie and Gonzo, they'd be around that age too. I'm guessing maybe 20s or 30s. Floyd and Janice should be about the same age...
I saw today's episode. It was cool that Grover got a street scene. It was also good to see Fat Blue again. It sounds like Jerry's still performing him. They also did a new version of the song 'We Are All Earthlings.' I don't know who the lady was that was singing though.
'Letter of the...
If Oscar's green color isn't natural, it's funny how most of Oscar's relatives are green. Also, I remember seeing some baby pictures of Oscar where he was green. It seems like the writers forgot that he had been orange.
I have seen a pic of the bright green Oscar at the Hooperfan page...
Strangely in MTI Gonzo actually liked being twisted up like that.
By the way, a few more to add to the list are:
Gilda Radner: How did everybody get unglued together?
Tony Randall: How did Kermit get turned back from being into stone? (Tony suggested an ugly woman had to kiss him...
In a way, I agree. The only song on that episode that Elton didn't sing was "Any Old Iron" and that's because guest stars don't appear in the UK spots. I really liked those songs he did, but I guess the Muppets should have gotten more airtime there.
About the John Cleese episode, I agree...
Thanks for that info, Boober. I guess Bob losing his temper sort of suffered the same fate as the first two Gordons. It seemed to be forgotten around the 80s.
Now that I think about it. I do remember a few times when Bob played games with Big Bird and when BB didn't want to stop, Bob got...
Hmmm. I always thought Bob was the patient one. I thought it was Gordon who got annoyed with the Muppets a bit more than Bob did. Just my opinion. (I say that a lot, don't I?)
Anyway, in answer to the question, I'd sort of like to go out with Gina. Considering she doesn't have Savion...
Yes. That has been mentioned. I don't think I've known that before reading this thread. It would be great to see an episode with the two of them together.
That's possible. I think Miles Orman might have had the same problem that the first Gabi had though, being real young and all and not wanting to be on camera. Why the second Miles left, I don't know. I thought he was a bit better than the current one. No offense to anyone who disagrees with...
I remember when he tried to do the alphabet but I don't remember the golfer appearing. I'd love to see that again.
By the way I remember the lyrics to Don Music's "Sesame Street" theme too. It goes:
Stormy night, not even a cloud in sight, on my way to where the sky is dark. Can you...
I'm sorry, but I have to agree with Rosewood.
I mean I'm not trying to insult Kevin Clash or Elmo, but Rosewood does bring up a point.
I have seen that episode and after reading that analysis, I feel that Gordon shouldn't have gave in that easily. I think that episode should have been...
