I'd recommend just renting "The Amazing Burt Wonderstone." He's actually pretty funny in that one, especially if you really don't dig Chris Angel. I mean, that film is pretty freaking biting towards him (that's the character Jim plays).
I never really cared much for the Farrelly Brothers...
Anyway, it makes you wonder how hard the Farrelly Brothers twisted Jim Carry's arm to break his "no sequels" rule. I mean, considering the freaking clustersmurf that befell The Mask 2 (by which, the delayed production that lead to one of the worst films of all time, and left a Nintendo contest...
The show returned with a new episode last night, and there's three observations I have.
Jeff isn't exactly above it all in this episode, and he was willing to join the kids in Clarence's mischief without complaint. Nice to know that someone was a bigger stick in the mud than him for a change...
Then of course, the info we would get was either late or inaccurate. Half the time a movie was announced, it was barely a rumbling. At least now, we have those who can confirm a rumor is just a rumor. Like that Labron James Space Jam 2. That was thankfully dispelled rather quickly.
Not...
I remember there was a Sonic the Hedgehog movie rumor in the 90's... back before the internet and you actually had to hear these on actual news stories. It sounded completely idiotic and had something to do with a baldness cure. Suffice to say, glad they didn't make it. Then there's the Sonic...
Yes, but it's very strange this is the only film without all the product tie ins. So much for getting cheap Grimlocks. Only thing I've seen is like an Oreo package. It's... strange. Probably because you'd expect it. That said, I'm not really complaining about the fact Burger King has some...
I'll give this for Disney love stories... know what's worse? The love stories in every other kid's movie. Disney knows it's audience at least, and it has business plans for every female character. When you look at these live action adaptions of cartoons, they're rife with completely useless...
They're that kind of fanbase, actually... TV Tropes even points this out in Arthur's YMMV page.
I don't get it either. At this point, I'd be FAR more excited that Arthur gets his own episode. Seems that at best when the episode supposedly focuses on him, it really focuses on someone else...
I think 22 Jump Street is also due out, but usually family movies do better. Plus, there's been a real trend of these comedies underperforming next to huge blockbusters. And it's a dirty shame for A Million Ways to Die. I saw that last week, and it was pretty funny. Seth's movies are far...
I'd say that there's a HUGE plot hole, or at least conceptual gap in the fact that these characters come from a single arcade, especially when you wonder about what happens with the other multiples of the same character in other arcades, not to mention those home consoles. I'd give the Gamefly...
Oh, absolutely. At least Sega's open to animated versions of their properties, Nintendo. Heck, unlike those guys, Sega's open to video game versions of their cartoons, even though the Sat AM game didn't go anywhere. Sonic Boom even has a tie in game. Only time I saw the DIC version of Koopa...
HERE'S the movie TMNT fans should really be excited for
Too bad it doesn't get a small indie theater release and just goes to DVD... but I'd be far more excited for this than even if Bay's TMNT was good.
There's a case of Gregg Berger voicing Boris at a Comic Con script reading...
Sounds like Boris may have been Joe Alasky in this Taco Bell ad, but I can't confirm it...
They're probably good. It's just not something I really read. When it comes to Archie, I only really read their Sonic and Mega Man lines. By the way, they actually tried to make Rotor the Walrus a gay character. And this was years before Kevin came on the scene. That went over well with...
I'd only accept that if Sega puts such a freaking leash on them that it makes the one they put on Archie Comics * look lenient. Sega should be smart enough to realize these video game based movies tend to be awful, and blights on the fanbase(with the odd exception of Resident Evil supposedly)...
I actually caught the episode where the house is invaded by one mouse. of course, it's a Kate and Pal episode, but it actually involves other characters. Wasn't too bad, but I hope Ladonna's white rat doesn't turn into an overly recurring guest star. I did like how they lampshade how people...
Let's not forget the ones that really spoil it are the handful of extremely vocal fire and brimstone types. The overwhelming fear of them is what holds everyone back. Archie comics was very courageous with their Kevin Keeler character, and thankfully there was more positive feedback than...
Here's a trope that I was wondering existed.
Niche Network
You know, the bizarre, no way they'd exist in real life type cable channels that they usually reference in cartoons. Usually anything Garfield related, where it's used expertly I might add.
I was expecting a funnier name, like...
