If you took the Abby's School and ETM/EW segments out of Sesame, that's about 20-25 minutes right there. The show's segmented anyway, so a half hour version seems to make sense. Somehow, I'd like to see a half hour version using different material from the main show. Different rerun street...
Well... Tom Kenny and all. He has to have even less sleep. But Seth's an odd choice. Not a bad one, but I don't think the voice will match up that well. He may be stretched too thin with Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Agents of SMASH (if that gets a second season), and now TMNT.
My hope for...
Anyone slightly disturbed by the Clarence "Get up and Move" commercials? Clarence has got to be like 7 or something, and you have this kid who has to be 12 at least hanging out with him (because you know, kids love to see older kids in things for some reason). Worse? They used clips of the...
'cept it doesn't, cuz they're going for a straight up movie version of the Penguins... after they decided to take the name from the TV show. So no Marleen, the two Italian Brooklyn stereotype Gorillas, or that Alligator voiced by Richard Kind. :smirk: Rico also doesn't have the scar he has in...
The show's been picked up for a 20 episode fourth season, but Jason Biggs is no longer going to be the voice of Leonardo... and apparently hasn't for the past couple of episodes. Next season he's going to be replaced by Seth Green, rather than the sound-a-like they've had for Leo. Kinda strange.
Well, There's no doubt that 50 Shades will be X rated. Hard R at the very least with major edits. There's no way One Direction's fan base would be old enough (18+) to flock to a movie with the same rating. I don't even see a 1D movie being PG-13, so I guess they'd go with something I call...
Baffling, but not terrible. I'm pretty sure if you strip the show down to just the street story and the letter/number segments, it would be less than a half hour anyway.
My one tiny complaint about MMW was the mentioning of One Direction (and as I don't want another debate about that film, I'm leaving that right there). OD is over. They're just another in a long line of disposable pop musicians that have no staying power. And while I'd love to rail on the...
Speaking of stupid movies...
Apparently we have to wait longer for the 50 Shades of Grey movie. Jeez. Listening to that news on Morning Soft News, you'd think that it was a tragedy!
For those who are actually wanting to see the movie? There's porn. The movie's going to be porn as much...
I could honestly see a PPG series animated like the first (and arguably better special- they referenced an obscure Sesame Street skit for one). Something Wander/Fosters style flash without having to break the budget on ultra-stylized versions of the characters. Maybe save enough of the budget...
I was actually starting to worry about Jazwares, since the Adventure Time and Regular Show stuff is starting to go at deep discount. The Teen Titans Go stuff flies off the shelf, though... to be fair both AT and RS stuff initially did. Great to see there's going to be some merchandise beyond...
Funny how these two shows manage to have announced revivals within a day of each other...
Danger Mouse
Powerpuff Girls.
Personally, I'd rather Count Duckula than Danger Mouse, but I do enjoy both. Seems the major point will be that it's high tech somehow. While there's obvious room for...
The episodes are all a little interconnected, so it is hard to just watch a random episode. I wound up accidentally watching a third season episode when I wasn't done with the second season and was completely confused by the whole thing. But Starscream was really back in character in that one...
The last Dragon movie was released in March, and I swear I saw it in theaters up until the Summer season. It owes its success to staying power, and I don't see why this one wouldn't either. What I don't get is how the international gross is treated. It either sometimes counts or sometimes...
I really don't get why these parody movies are still a thing. Sure, they did mildly well back in the early 00's when that sort of rapid fire pop culture humor referencing worked, but once Disaster Movie hit, they crossed the crappy movie event horizon, it bombed, and no one wanted to see any of...
And I find that idiotic. Now, I would say there is concern at DW since their movies haven't been making much money lately, at least domestically (Turbo opened very week over here, but found an audience in Asian and Latin American countries that put it well over the top, making back almost twice...
Anyway, back to the subject. Remember how a while back I mentioned some horrible parody movie? Apparently there were two of them... and I just found that out looking up one I thought was the on e I was talking about.
The Starving Games and The Hungover Games. The last one was so bad that it...
Suffice to say, Prime is what the movies should have been. Though it was a pretty serious show. They got to the point of almost killing off a child character, but Hasbro put their foot down on that one. Seems like this next one sounds like it might be a little lighter and kid friendly. But so...
I really wish my cable package got XD. :p Seems they save the best stuff for that other channel, and it should be standard if you get Disney. I HATE the idea of having to pay a fortune so I can get like 2 other channels (also don't get The Hub, which is also pretty disappointing).
On the side...
