You know, I was gonna draw a fan art of Mikey accidentally creating Pizza Steve out of mutagen, but decided against it.
Man, I gotta pick up those Bebop and Rocksteady pop figures. Too bad I don't even have any of the Muppets, Bullwinkle, TMNT, or Ghostbusters line yet (or Derpy. I'm not...
Apparently, The Crazy Ones got cancelled because the ratings were good, but not good enough to justify the budget. Way to cheap out on a television show, CBS. I'm sure Robin Williams's salary for the show isn't nearly what that twerp that "found religion" dumped after leaving 2,5 Men. At...
Just saw the Pizzaface episode.
Wow. That singlehandedly outdid every tired pizza joke in the original series, even mocking the strange food combo toppings that were a running gag. And made even better with John DiMaggio hamming it up as Pizzaface (no pun intended). This is probably one of...
How can Happy Madison produce such terrible movies, and yet give us The Goldbergs, one of, if not, the best sitcom from the 2013-2014 season?
I guess even a broken clock is right two times a day.
I agree we'll never have another Die Hard. Mainly because we weren't going to get a Die Hard in the first place. The only time they even tried to make a Die Hard film an actual Die Hard film was the last one... and we all know how that one turned out. Everything is done so far in advance...
Well, there's always that Super Mario Super Show episode with Koopzilla that had this immortal line by Toad:
"Mario may save the city, but there's no city left." (or something to that extent)
Let's be honest. Action movies were always a crapshoot. We remember the Die Hards, the Predators...
You know, I've been getting into sometimes watching Peg + Cat (which is, oddly enough, is produced by the Fred Rogers Foundation) and it's quite a show. It has unexpectedly sly humor, and comes off as something either a father or mother made for their little girl. It has an actual heartfelt...
Yeah, but that sort of thing is pretty much Godzilla's trademark. Probably did it a little too much, but it seems like they made a genuine effort with Godzilla in the US this time. I didn't see it, but it seems that people actually like the American Godzilla this time. That makes 2 sucky...
Like I said. Bizarre. There hasn't even been a press release about the next season (I don't think we would expect one for a couple months), and they're already promoting it via Youtube. Makes me almost think these were skits that were supposed to be in season 44, but were held over.
So much for the excuse of film goers rather seeing CGI films. Seems now's the opposite, no thanks to DTV quality, tenth party stuff like that. Sure, it does fall into that whole Wizard of Oz ghetto where nothing but the original movie and Wicked shine through. But it wholly looked...
And to think, they wound up recasting him with someone who was recast as Richard Hunt roles all along. And there's no doubt in my mind that, had he been alive to perform the character, Baby Bear would have been Richard's as well.
Sigh... too bad he wasn't recast in MCC. He could have played...
You kidding? Know how much Marvel and Star Wars stuff we're probably never going to see on DVD?
When was the last time you saw the entire Droids or Ewoks cartoon on DVD? I severely doubt Disney would release that. I'm not even sure Disney would release the not-special editions of the...
Don would have to be recast, but I'd think either David Rudman or Tyler Bunch would be up to the task. If they were to recast and use him... which they obviously won't.
They clearly have some of the AM based classic characters made up. I don't see why they just don't use them to fill out...
Oh, yes. Definitely. They give the show a nice depth and a change of pace from the zip chase household antics. You get to see them work together with the subtlety of a love/hate, vitriolic best buds relationship. If there's one thread I'm noticing about this series is that they managed to...
There is something to the comment that it was trying too hard to be the original show. That's partly right. I'd say the true problem was it trying to be the original show in the wrong aspects, and it was trying to be its own thing on varying levels of success. They wanted to modernize the...
A few observations on this last 3.
This really proves my point about the quality being inconsistent. Brain Freeze and Caught in the Crosswires were absolutely excellent, and most of the rest of the episodes this go around (3 episodes split from 5, used in a Spring promotion) were quite good...
Now that I think about it, all I remember is that stuff Stewie rehased. They probably did. And now that i think about it, I seem to recall 1980's cereal commercials bragging about their vitamins.
But when you get all preachy about how healthy something that really isn't that healthy, and/or...
