Great to see Bill Cipher returning and wrecking Dipper's body along the way! Loved Mabel's epic sock puppet show, along with her pony sweater that she wore throughout most of the episode! :)
Bonus points at the live-action puppet show during the credits for having sock puppet versions of Stan &...
Even more insane, their website shows even more sponsors! I mean, other cooking shows on PBS don't have this many sponsors yet look much better in the production department, such as America's Test Kitchen.

Kellogg's, Chuck E Cheese's, and 7-Eleven are three other companies that have clean hands when it comes to their sponsorship of kids' shows. Neither of them really advertised their products or anything.
I have no interest in the movie, but I recently watched Turbo FAST and I enjoyed it, too. I loved that creepy Mark Hamill-voiced former mentor of one of the snails that appeared in the latest episode.
Even DiC cartoons had better puns, and that's saying a lot.
I remember a Subaru sponsor credit on Globe Trekker, one show I watched a lot of on Saturday afternoons a few years back. It looked almost no different from something on commercial TV.
Also, I saw some clips of Taste This TV, and Drtooth is right about it looking so cheap. The laundry list of...
Anyone else find Steven's pompadour in the latest episode adorable? :D
Also, great to see Onion's dad again. Hopefully he got to spend enough quality time with his son along the way.
Here's the Pfizer sponsorship for those who are curious.
Personally, I'm glad they didn't make more of these. Imagine a Pfizer commercial with the letter V for Viagra!
Anyone else think it was a little out of character for Mr. Gus to be so enthusiastic about playing hide and seek? I mean, he's the wet blanket of the UG crew.
One of the most bizarre and embarrassing things ever put on VHS: Rent-a-Friend. Basically it's a video aimed at extremely lonely people starring a creepy guy named Sam. I've seen a clip of this on the Found Footage Fest website dedicated to bad VHS tapes, but the full unofficial DVD edit is...
Beaches was pretty indirect in its advertising, as well. They showed families enjoying their vacation in the Bahamas, but didn't outright shill their resort.
The animation is barely TV quality, and the story is tired and cliched. Oh, all these inanimate objects come to life when no one else is around, and some evil DoodleBob reject is destroying their world and they must stop him? Gee, I haven't seen that before.
The ridiculous TVGuardian set-top box, which mutes foul language that happens to pass through your TV speakers into your kids' fragile little minds, is still around. I remember hearing of this thing back in the '90s, and I also remember about a version that bowdlerizes the language instead...
Nice job referencing that cheesy Wendy's employee training video from the '80s. Look it up on YouTube and you'll know what I'm talking about. :D
And apparently Steven knows nothing about VHS despite owning at least one Japanese movie on the format in a past episode. Boy, that blow to the face...
