    When you need to rant...

Hear hear! I can say the same for the Enterovirus (really just another word for the flu) that has killed, like, 5 kids, who most likely had underlying illnesses that were worsened by it.

    The Clarence thread

Well, we finally get a Charlie Brown expy in the latest episode. Seems appropriate as I get a slight Peanuts vibe from watching this show.

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

Remember the botched episode "Arthur's Big Hit" and its screwed up anti-violence moral? Well, someone on Deviantart (Geekygirl43) opted to fix it, and she did a bang-up job. http://www.deviantart.com/art/How-Arthur-s-Big-Hit-Should-Have-Been-Written-461550722 As Arthur left his model plane, to...

That Book of Life movie doesn't look too bad, at least visually. Doesn't seem like anything crude or crass, either.

MUPPETS Screenwriter Nicholas Stoller Says THE MUPPETS Might Be Coming Back to TV

Streaming can be a great thing, but it really shouldn't be the end-all be-all for entertainment for those reasons alone.

    Zemekis/Disney To Remake "Yellow Submarine?"

First Spielberg feels ashamed of neutering E.T., and now Zemeckis says this. I'm still holding my breath on George Lucas saying that the "special" editions of Star Wars were a mistake and that he will be pushing help get the original, unaltered trilogy receive a proper remastering.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

So far, it ranks at #4 with around $5 mil, falling below even two other movies that have been out for a week. Worry no more. http://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Alexander-and-the-Terrible-Horrible-No-Good-Very-Bad-Day#tab=box-office Meanwhile, The Boxtrolls made back its budget and then some. It...

    The next Transformers Cartoon REVEALED!

They banished the 2nd and final season of Grojband to their website, as well. At least Hub gave Prime some good closure.

    The next Transformers Cartoon REVEALED!

Whatever CN does right (cancelling the live-action shows and giving us critically acclaimed animated series), they do something horribly wrong along with it (screwing over the shows you just mentioned).

    The next Transformers Cartoon REVEALED!

Even though CN has a history of screwing over many action shows since Samurai Jack (it was supposed to end with a movie, but the network had second thoughts ever since the Powerpuff Girls Movie tanked in theaters), it's at least a more accessible network.

    The Chipmunks

Not quite as ugly as you made it out to be, Snowth, but still not the quality of the Star Wars shows or Transformers Prime, and to a lesser extent Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. I do like how the sexual dimorphism isn't as blatant as the '80s series, as both the Chipmunks and Chipettes...

    Galavant "Thoughts"

There was one a couple years ago starring Rob Schneider, which was predictably awful, and was canned after only 8 episodes.

    The Chipmunks

Jimmy Neutron-- both the show and movie-- were made with commercial-grade software, and the guys at O Entertainment and DNA Productions really made the most of it.

    Thoughts on sponsors

Well, when it comes to sponsors I like, it's anything that doesn't pass its sponsorship tag off as a blatant commercial. As in, not Pfizer or Spaghetti-Os. I once tried some store-brand Wheat Thins, and they were just all right. They weren't as sweet and crispy as the real thing.

Ghostbusters 3 finally on the way? You decide!

I'm mixed on this. It sucks that it's a reboot instead, but then again, making a Ghostbusters sequel right now with only three of the Busters would be as crazy as making a Blues Brothers sequel with only one-- *does best Mr. Plinkett impression* Oooohhhh. :p But I've heard that any of the...

    Thoughts on sponsors

And Hero of Color City looks to be extremely unironic with its Bumble Bee Tuna plugging. They're not even trying to hide it there. Store brand stuff isn't always low quality. It's the really cheap dollar store brands you've gotta look out for.

    Most Annoying TV Series Ever?

And props to the Rhino episode in the 2nd season for making a good anti-bullying message. I liked Rhino's more animal-like design here, as well. The insane potential-hurting censorship of that series (to the point where even the '60s Spidey was more violent) baffles me, as I don't recall the...

    Most Annoying TV Series Ever?

Ultimate Spider-Man is another one I'd like to add. I like the show and all, but after binging on the brilliant Spectacular Spider-Man, this comes up as underwhelming and too Family Guy-esque with all its random cutaway gags. I did like that Spider-Ham episode, though.
