Great to see another anthology series! I loved how Waddles' "smart voice" in act 2 was supplied by none other than Neil DeGrasse Tyson. And the claymation segment in act 3 was epic, with the monsters supplied by the same guys as Robot Chicken and that new WWE series available for only $9.95 a...
I really liked how Uncle Grandpa now has a rival in the form of Aunt Grandma, a girl all grown up who was not satisfied with UG's attempt to show her a good time and instead tries to one-up him in the form of actually helping out kids via real-world logic.
Now that the show has returned, we finally get a Jeff-centric story. I liked the focus on his insecurities of being the "perfect" kid, and his refusal to be lumped in with the same box of "crayons" in terms of intelligence. Now there's something a lot of brainiacs can relate to. :)
And we...
I felt that the issues in that episode about sexual urges and body shame were handled quite tastefully. Plus, I don't find it a bad thing that Blackish probably won't always put racial issues front and center; as a matter of fact, the topics in said episode are really relateable even to white...
I'm now being assaulted with ads and previews for Alexander during ABC's Wednesday night line-up, and they aren't making it look any better. Just as Drtooth is offended by a childhood book he loves being slaughtered on the silver screen, so am I.
According to the website, it will be released theatrically, and go straight to DVD/Blu-ray 2 months afterward.
And are Jess Harnell and Wayne Brady not getting paid enough by Disney to voice Cedric and Clover?
Now that Rebels has premiered, I've enjoyed the two-part premiere so far. The main character Ezra doesn't come across as bratty and overbearing as Ahsoka was initially, being more of a weasely type of character who is a weasel just to survive. Doesn't hurt that there's more of a feeling of...
I remember the U.S. release of the wuxia movie Hero was delayed for nearly 2 years by the Weinsteins when they ran Miramax, but Quentin Tarantino came to the rescue to put it out there. Miyazaki also put his foot down when they were about to edit Princess Mononoke to make it more "financially...
The sponsors for season 45 are PNC Financial Services, Earth's Best, Beaches, Party City, United Healthcare, and the CPB, which are the same as the last few years.

Weinstein is just the U.S. distributor. I don't think they had any involvement in the writing.
Colin Firth was supposed to voice the bear, but was replaced as his voice was somehow unfitting.
Back to Color City:
Rosie Perez was embarrassed for showing off her boobs in her film debut, Do the Right Thing. After this, I don't think she would be anymore.
I'm guessing that the Smurfs can have sex, but not for baby-making. Same reason why the Crystal Gems eat: purely for pleasure, rather than nourishment.
I really hate those microtransactions that are infecting the game industry. Those iPhone fanatics aren't willing to spend money on movie tickets, but they're A-OK being nickeled and dimed into bankruptcy over Candy Crush?
I hope this won't discourage Laika from making any more...
