Also, I have to add that Onion seems to view Steven as a surrogate big brother, which is no surprise seeing how distant Sour Cream must be from him. I think Steve is just the kid to guide him in the right direction. :)
Doug Walker made a video of his top 10 Disney movies and placed Frozen at #6. He talks a bit about "Let It Go" and says he still finds it better than "Hakuna Matata".
Loved the whole insight into Onion's family. Seems like Yellowtail is the authority figure of the family, which may explain his slightly disturbed and out-of-control behavior out of his parents' sight. Onion does seem to love his parents equally well, though, going by the fact that he keeps a...
I hope Mission: Impossible trounces Vacation. There's a difference between using an old-school video game to make an analogy to turds and actually getting covered in them. We don't actually get to experience the former. :grouchy:
And Wreck-It Ralph is actually getting a sequel for real, straight from John C. Reilly's mouth. :)

Also, I liked how the use of Sugilite in the previous episode went by without a hitch -- no mass destruction or anything. Maybe it's because of Amethyst's recent character development?
The only ones that still go for those stock expressions are Flash shows, but even then some still manage to...
I loved seeing Ruby and Sapphire again. Their personalities are so stark, yet opposites really do attract with them.
I also love how exaggerated the facial expressions can get in the show, and none of that is more apparent than in this episode. This is one of those times where going off model...
Reminds me of the sequel to An American Tail. The first one was a strong commentary on the immigration experience during late 19th-early 20th century America. The 2nd one was a pure adrenaline-fueled western that didn't have anything to say, but was a high quality film nonetheless. I credit...
As long as doesn't contain characters unironically spouting outdated hip-hop slang, out-of-context pop culture references, and/or making tons of poorly executed toilet jokes, then it shouldn't deserve scorn. Minions doesn't seem to be one of those movies, as far as I know.
Wow! We get a huge amount of mostly heartbreaking backstory from Stan and his twin brother. Loved J.K. Simmons' performance as Grunkle Ford, too. :)
Also makes me wonder how the Stanco version of Hair-in-a-Can would affect the health of its buyers? Maybe their hair will fall out and tentacles...
A little old, but I felt it would be appropriate to create a separate thread to honor Nintendo president and CEO of Nintendo of America, who died last weekend at the age of 55 from a bile duct tumor, which explains his absence from E3 this year and also last year...
It took Minions to dethrone the T. rex last weekend. Its opening was also bigger than the previous Despicable Me movies, too.

I wonder how Statler & Waldorf would fit in? Would they be watching the show on TV a la Muppets Tonight and heckling them from there? I feel they're the kinds of guys who work best heckling face-to-face, and since this show won't have a live studio audience, that's the only way it would work.
It would be interesting to see what the new writers can do with Dregg. He was such a waste of Tony Jay in the original series, coming across as a more menacing substitute for Shredder during the ultimately forgettable "Red Sky" era.
And Mona Lisa was another character who was woefully...
Oh yes, yes I am sick of it. These parents really need to see an otologist.
But at least Mickey D's is standing its ground in this instance.
Looks like we're getting a video game, with Alex Hirsch himself pulling the strings! Uses the same engine as the new Rayman games, too! :)
