Netflix and Warner Bros. Animation to produce Green Eggs and Ham TV Show for 2018

I really don't see this working out as a TV series, let alone a full movie, no matter how good the writing team is. At least it will be all animated.

Yooka-Laylee: A love letter to 3D platform games

Wow, this thing just hit all its initial stretch goals at the £1 million ($1.5 mil.) mark! So that means more are on the way! :) https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/playtonic/yooka-laylee-a-3d-platformer-rare-vival/posts/1218423

Yooka-Laylee: A love letter to 3D platform games

Fans of 3D collect-a-thon platformers from the N64 era rejoice! Many of the developers from Rare are forming their own company and creating a spiritual successor of their magnum opus Banjo-Kazooie called Yooka-Laylee (get it?). It stars a chameleon and bat duo using their unique skills like...

    The Clarence thread

So this "Damien" guy must be Mary's ex-husband. Now there's a mystery I'd like to see revealed.

    Oreos Banned from School

Yeah, but people don't get withdrawal symptoms from it like drugs. You don't see people convulsing like crazy and holding up convenience stores for candy and soda, do you? That's why I put "addicted" in quote marks. But don't those kids from other countries have less time devoted to school...

    Oreos Banned from School

Whether or not you like Oreos, this is a big pile of smoo. Banning certain foods and forcing kale down kids' throats is going to do nothing to stop obesity, and may very well turn it into a forbidden fruit for many kids, potentially getting them "addicted" to them even more. Great work, guys...

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

I imagine those who didn't like the A&O sequels at least liked the first.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

So Adventure Time will be getting an actual theatrical movie, and the first CN movie since the unfortunate failure of The Powerpuff Girls Movie. Seems like after The SpongeBob Movie was a rousing success, WB decided to announce this a couple of months ago. I'm excited, but also cautiously...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Last weekend was a real quiet one, with newly-released romantic fantasy The Age of Adaline taking third. Gotta give kudos to Home for hanging on to the 4th spot and bringing in an extra $8 mil., too. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2015&wknd=17&p=.htm

    Harvey Beaks: New Nick series

Another thing that surprised me about this show is that it makes use of a full 40-piece orchestra for the background music, which is possibly the first kids' cartoon since Animaniacs to do so. It's nice to see more effort put into cartoon scores recently like with Steven Universe, MLP, and Star...

    Harvey Beaks: New Nick series

Zeus Cervas, the writer behind some of the most hated episodes of SpongeBob, was one of three writers who contributed to "Harvey's First Scar". And I have to say, it was pretty good. It did have shades of Zeus's mean-spiritedness like all the over-the-top Looney Tunes-type crap the twins throw...

No More 2D Animated Films At Disney

Whoops, make a mistake there. There are actually four shorts planned, not three. :o
