Yesterday's episode was a nice twist on the whole "father/son camping adventure" plot in that Clarence was the one who wanted to "rough it" while Chad had all manner of civilization by his side (cans of beans, portable TV, etc.) and just slept around. Clarence has also been putting Chad on a...
I'm impressed that the Veggietales videos, particularly ones like An Easter Carol, were able to wrangle up a live orchestra for its musical scores. Must be from all the sales of the vids and other merchandising from the lucrative Christian market that they were able to utilize that. :)
I've never seen a non-drug-induced hallucination this crazy since "El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer". I almost expected that Johnny Cash coyote to show up and say something about finding your soulmate or something. :)
Will I still enjoy Osmosis Jones for its universe, main villain, and animation, I will agree that it has an inconsistent tone. We have the cold, murderous Thrax in the animated parts, yet scenes of projectile vomiting & exploding zits in the live-action ones. That's why I find the Ozzy & Drix...
That's why I like Raggedy Ann & Andy as well as Rainbow Brite. That yarn hair is much better to the touch. :)
I'm guessing Belson's a disobedient runaway with first world problems, hence the squatting situation.
Great news for you! Turbo F.A.S.T. will be getting a 2nd season set to come out at the end of this month! :)

This show finally decided to make fun of those creepy "My Buddy" dolls in the latest episode. Gotta love how 5 minutes of time out is like an eternity to Clarence, which is a lot like how other little kids perceive time. Also gotta love how Clarence went goth, or his idea of goth. :)
I must say, I do like the use of call-backs and running gags in this show. I found it pretty funny when Goat kept getting interrupted by a jackhammering construction worker no matter where she went whenever she tried to perform one of her songs.
Ant-Man did well enough for itself last weekend, and I don't think Disney/Marvel should give up on it soon enough. I do, however, expect Pixels to trounce it next week.

This is a new Nick series I'm mixed on. On one hand, I do like the intertwined plots used for the four characters, and the Ren & Stimpy/Gary Baseman-esque art style. But on the other hand, its insanity isn't as structured and refined as something like R&S or Uncle Grandpa. Plus, while the...
Old news for everyone else, but this is new to me: Pete's Dragon will be getting a remake scheduled for next year. This won't be a musical, and Elliott will be done in CGI (possibly hyper-realistic CGI). I assume that it won't be a period piece, either, to go with the "gritty" feel of the...
I liked the episode about the group of young fankids always watching S&C in secret and making 4th wall jokes about the show with a literal wink & nod. But if they're always watching the two, how did they not know who Hector was despite being superfans?
And the following ep where Hector uses his...
I loved all the different hairdos Fee went through in the latest episode. Reminds me of when Homer took that hair growth formula and went through the same thing.
And the following one where Harvey got Piri Piri (the excitable bird girl in the beret) interested in a series of mystery books and...
Don't forget the devolution to storyboards and sticky note doodles. :)
Overall, that episode was a nice look into the concept of selling out and whether or not it would be appropriate in given situations. It's also another one of those "series fauxnales" that gives it a feeling of closure but...
I loved how last night's episode was a nice jab at Mary Sues/Marty Stus with Mayor Dewey turning his ancestor into one for his play before Pearl stepped in to fix it in her own special way. And I loved how Jamie the mailman was given another chance to shine, too.
On related news, SU will be...
I stopped getting interested into Golan after the 3rd episode of the retooled series once it started devolving into mean-spiritedness like so many other "adult" cartoons, cancelling out said improved characterization of both Golan and Dylan. And I caught a bit of Stone Quackers, and it really is...
Seems like CN is now airing new episodes on the weekdays one at a time like with the other shows. It's what they should have done to begin with.
Gotta love how Dave the Intern is getting more screen time, as seen in the episode "Chez Amy".
