Darn it. I popped into this thread and read the last post thinking it was about TMS season 4. Let's keep it TMS specific here. :sympathy:
Move the other updates for Get Smart etc to the General Discussion section. :wisdom:
Two packed characters wouldn't likely happen. Just because a character is smaller doesn't make it cheaper to manufacture. Sometimes the opposite. I've seen Pepe's armature for all of his arms and legs. That's delicate and expensive work. He's so tiny. I would expect Kermit, Pepe and Rizzo to be...
I don't see why Fozzie would be more expensive to manufacture. It always seemed to me like a shipping size and storage issue. I'm sad about Fozzie, but I can see why a company would want to build a larger loyal base before investing in a Fozzie. That must put Rowlf completely out of the running.
"Bad form" seems a little harsh especially considering that Langridge follows the tradition of Gonzo in every other project aside from the much disputed MFS. Frank Oz and Gonzo/Goelz himself has admitted that particular origin was only a gimmick for that movie. The MFS last minute script change...
Wonder who that popcorn Muppet would be? My money's on Rizzo or Robin. This composition kind of reminds me of those old Sopranos promos in Vanity Fair with the entire cast reacting to one another in one of those huge photographs.
My casting choices for extensive Muppet Star Wars would be similar in places, different in others: Kermit Luke, Piggy Leia, Bunsen R2D2, Beaker C3PO, Gonzo Dirth Nader, Fozzie Solo, Animal Chewy, Rowlf Lando, Statler & Waldorf Co-Emperors, Scooter Fett, Teeth Obi, Robin or Rizzo Yoda, Sam &...
Have you thought of hiding Pepe in the Chef's popcorn? It's a way to sneak him in. Still, it's probably a good idea to go with the classic cast and the job you've done and characters you've included are phenomenal. :super:
Up was a good film. I actually enjoyed it better than Wall-E, but neither are my favorite films. There's a particular quality that's expected when entering a Pixar film and it's in every frame of Up. Their Toy Story films and A Bugs Life were never very high up on my list due to personal tastes...
:attitude: What does puppetry have to do with social issues? Well, in my experience some of the biggest Muppet fans are gays and Christians. Those issues just come up. They will always come up.
It would be inappropriate to censor gays on a forum that permits and encourages the heavy inclusion...
Part of being a human, much less a person of faith, is to treat others with kindness. It's difficult, but freedom of speech should be tempered with responsibility and kindness.
California is a mess. It has been a mess for a long time. Gray Davis stuck us in the horrible energy crisis, took Enron money while all the time demonizing them. However, Arnold can't complain much because he campaigned to recall and replace Davis who had just been reelected after underhandedly...

I feel exactly the same. Your original puppets and replica Muppets really are amazing. I can't imagine how the world would be if I could make my own Muppet! :wisdom:
