It's just hard for me to be upset about some of these wonderful pieces even though I know it's not really right to be profiting from them. They aren't being mass produced and Henson & Muppet properties have a history of being light on licensed merchandise. That seems to be changing now.
If...
Sorry about the rant. It's just my belief that you should get what has been paid for. That's really all. I have been burned before in online sales and therefore feel very passionate about it.
But back to the topic seeing that you did pay for that puppet with a credit or debit card and it was...
Why is the cover art seem to be better than the interior drawing? I blame Amy! (kidding, of course) ;)
Still, I'm enjoying the style of the different covers a great deal. How are artists chosen for the content duties? Does it have to do with a relationship with the writer?
Still, Kermit...
Anyway, giving the complete benefit of the doubt...this could be a sign of things to come with businesses of all sorts as creditors collect in current struggling financial times. Creditors are getting tougher with their loans. Just has to be said. :sympathy:
I mentioned the word fraud and did already admit that was a bit far, but I'm not holding a kangaroo court as you suggested so let’s not further that unnecessary tone. I’ve temped for various companies large and small and they all can be accessed through the net with a login. Removing that sort...
I like it. The Muppets still get to be themselves but in a plot to save the world. That's terrific! Maybe Link and Strangepork could be working for NASA alongside Bunsen and Beaker. Welcome to the forum.
Thanks for clearing that up. I'm anxious to hear some information! Well, we know it's not Sideshow. I guess they tried their hand at Muppets and moved on after the slow (but eventually solid) sales of the busts. I'm thinking it's Gentle Giant. Guess we'll have to wait a while. :)
Professional companies usually have an online database of customers' names, numbers and email information (not necessarily credit cart information) that can be accessed through password from any computer. I doubt they wouldn't have access to their email list. A business is supposed to prepare...
What a horrible thing to happen. There is no excuse for any company not notifying customers of incomplete orders. They should have an accessible email contact list for every order even if they are locked out of the building. Not only is it unprofessional it constitutes fraud. I'd expect more...
The company was a mess after Jim died. It took years for the Muppet brand to rise again after that. Oz was already on the road to other non-Muppety things. It's good his characters have been recast. If Jim were alive all these years I have no doubt that Fozzie and Piggy would have been tucked a...
That's true. Still, they seemed like less of the band there. It must be the whole college angle. I always felt that they hit the road playing small gigs rather than hitting the books. I always felt like Dr. Teeth teamed up with Zoot in New Orleans sometime in the mid 1960s and in the early 70s...
I enjoyed MTM a lot when I was young and still do, but it did fuel some of the problems that plague the franchise today. The movie marriage and the real relationship status between Kermit & Miss Piggy, spawning the Muppet Babies spin-off that doesn't fit in any reasonable timeline established...
Miss Piggy started to show more vulnerability in MTM. A little too much for my taste. I find that to be more the turning point of the character and current incarnations mimic that Piggy rather than the stronger TMS, TMM and GMC Miss Piggy that I prefer. At least she lost the fright wig. I just...
I think Pepe is the bridge between classic and new viewers. It almost seems like he was always there, but off doing his own thing away from the cameras. His asides in Letters to Santa helped frame the sweetness with audience some much needed perspective - and with just the right amount of bite...
There's been much talk of an actual GB3 film. Well, Dan Aykroyd has something to say about it in the LA Times.
Dan Aykroyd says 'Ghostbusters 3' may start filming in winter

I just visited with Dan Aykroyd over at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip for an interview for...
Here's a link to a printable pencil art piece featuring a Fozzie Bear moment from the Muppet Show. I created this several years ago and submitted to the Muppet Newsflash contest a year ago. It will take a minute to download, but you might enjoy it. :o
If you break it down, that's twice as much as the original SRP so I don't think it's too outrageous. I have the whole collection and remember the sculptures ranging between $50-65 a piece. Series best sculpt was Rowlf, the most lack-luster likeness was Fozzie, but two of my personal favorite...
