Thanks. I getchya! It's just nice to know that these aren't going to be designed by whatever artisan on whose desk the project falls. They have someone in mind. I hope it's a someone that will shepherd the project from beginning to completion rather than hurl a wonderful prototype out into the...
Um...I meant exactly who is making the prototype. How involved is Puppet Heap in the construction. How far does their expertise extend? If you don't know the actual answer beyond "some puppet builders they pick" or something to that extent then please allow someone that does to respond. Thanks...
That stuff takes time. It depends if it's a total site revamp or just a bit of an update. Personally their site design looks a little wonky. I'd lend my services to fixing it at a good rate. ;)
I've heard some people say their Gonzo's eye focus wasn't "too" bad, but I have yet to see a photo of a factory fresh one that looks even moderately passable in the pupil department. The defense of that was ludicrous, yet such an easy fix. It just sounds as if we won't be having to customize...
There are some very good sales for those two around the web these days. Trust me, even with all the flack Gonzo gets for his nose netting and eye focus issues, I shreaked like a little kid when first opening the box. The pupil fix is such an easy one that I recommend to anyone with even minimal...
It's cool to break him in a little bit and fidget with him from time to time, but some of these other folk seem to wear their Kermit out. Trust me, if you're concerned about it you wouldn't allow it to happen. It's easy to keep the frog nice. How does one keep nice things? By treating them...
Reaper season two should be coming any day now. It was such a clever and fun show, but it appears to have been nixed. One indicator is that I haven't seen many of the episodes except on DVD and the web. Anyway, Reaper season two. That's the latest DVD set I've bought.
Basically it's about a...
One thing should be for certain - Puppet Heap would not likely sign off on or defend poor eye focus. I never understood how that could happen. I felt MR just ran out of money to develop the posers' final phase.
I'm looking forward to both Disney and Heap being heavily involved in these...
Spider-man 4 is really supposed to go back to the original comic idea. Sam Raimi listened too much to Sony with the whole Venom tie-in. That was pretty much slapped on and it fragmented the film. I think they'll go with Kraven for 4.
Smurfs could go either way. It's been tied up in...
It appears EFX’s deal with Disney and Puppet Heap will help facilitate creative problem solving more than when the posers were at MR. At least that’s what I’m getting from it.
MR sank too much money into exploring the wrong methods for Gonzo's nose that they couldn't finance any other...
I'm just glad they got funny people to voice the Chipettes. Not like it matters all that much with the distortion, but the line delivery is best left to the skill of proven funny actresses. And the design also looks pretty good. It's hard to pair furry and feminine without going to cel...
I don't know who is dragging their feet on this. It's not clear. Is it Henson or Weinstein? I kind of think it might be the former. Henson Co has a way of letting projects wither on the vine in development for whatever reason. Have we heard any new news about Dark Crystal since a couple months...
The relentless title card opening set a sour tone for me. I kind of wish the comic story would have started where it ended with the Scooter portion.
Janice is drawn nicely and I adore her inclusion in anything. However, it might just be that there are two Cannabis clubs on my street, but I...
How do you think they looked?
Also, what line seemed like it was in the voice of Gonzo? Few of the lines seemed character specific aside from Sam's line that was lifted from Muppet Christmas Carol. Guess I just don't see any of the Muppetyness beyond the slick covers.
Yes, the hood...
Oh, you're the guy with the initial Robin Hood cover art that created all the buzz. I'd like to see the Muppet comic you'd make.
By the way...Boom guys - any thought about doing an Electric Mayhem Tour comic? I'd love to see that. :D
