Wow, Son of Enik, so cool that you have Gwonk!
He looks cool! http://www.ghostofthedoll.co.uk/Toys/MyPetMonster/Small_Gwonk6.jpg
And glad to hear the show is on DVD, GonzoLeaper! :)
By the way, are you a Quantum Leap fan?
Impressive credits! I didn't realize just how many things I knew of, that he was in (but I didn't know he was in them)! Sounds confusing, but I think I almost make sense here.
It's so great you always shine the spotlight on these greats while they're here!
Little Richard!

I know this is a Muppets Tonight clip, but it just shows that some musical guests we didn't see on TMS had their chance later to rock with the Muppets, and this clip with Little Richard (being just as great as ever!) is proof that...
By the way, I remember one story where Grover was dressed like Indiana Jones, and when you first load the story, the title page had him swinging on a vine across the screen, complete with sound effect (and that'd repeat until you clicked to the next page). This was mind blowing at that time...

I remember one or more of these Sesame coloring books with tracing paper in it, where you could easily trace the pictures - they were great! :)
That is...
By the way, I admit the show in general isn't what it once was (and I know this is not news to anyone heh) not just the skits with Elmo, but again, Elmo is still cool with me, and Mr. Clash answering the questions on this youtube video (rather than being stuck with the current scripts) is good...
(Links in blue)
The toy, the show, the movie, etc. Anyone recall?
I saw one for $5 a few years back - it even talked. I almost got it because I didn't have one years ago. But then, I decided it would just sit there and look cool, so what's the point.
But he's still cool :)
I can't...

Cool, I'm not alone, then - that makes 2 of us who don't follow Family Guy - I should make a thread just to see who joins us. But I won't, heh.
I agree, the fad itself is (or was, whatever, lol) definitely silly, even though bringing an 80's recording to the current day's culture was (or is)...
I recall the film fondly, so I'll have to check it out again! :)
And right on about the video game! (Never tried 2 yet) Great game! Ah, the memories! And I always loved Scrooge in Mickey's Christmas Carol, too, which was my introduction to him.
I love Elmo's answers to the Mars question! Even if you dislike Elmo's Sesame scripts these days, (and who can blame you - "Do birthday cakes have hair?" isn't Shakespeare) I suggest you check out Mr. Clash here, doing things his way, and referencing things newer viewers may not get (all in the...
Wonderful picture of Jim and friends, touching clip from the Muppets tribute to Jim, and good of you to share the wikipedia entry on the man. Thank you...as much as I still feel  I think Jim would like us to be :D so I will end by saying I am so thankful for what he gave us, and also for...
Thank you DW! And as you can guess, I think you hit the nail on the head with your post right there, too!
It seems like any art that's great in it's purest form has a chance of eventually being churned out like it's in a factory, and loses it's true appeal (and yet people pay for it -go...
